Discovery Channel Acquires US TV Rights on Morgan Spurlock's "Rats" Documentary

DISCOVERY CHANNEL ACQUIRES US TV RIGHTS ON MORGAN SPURLOCK'S "RATS" DOCUMENTARY

Warrior Poets & Submarine Co-Producing Feature Doc based on NY Times Best Selling Book by Robert Sullivan Rats: Observations on the History and Habitat of the Cities Most Unwanted Inhabitants

Submarine is representing Foreign Rights at this year's Cannes Market and will be showing a Promo Reel to prospective Buyers

May 14, 2016 - Cannes Film Festival - Submarine announced today that it has begun production on Academy nominated director Morgan Spurlock's feature documentary RATS based on Robert Sullivan's NY Times Best Selling Book. Warrior Poets will produce with Submarine along with Discovery Channel who has US television rights and will air later this year. The film will be finished in the 4th quarter of this year. Submarine will be representing foreign rights and speaking to buyers at this year's Cannes Market.

RATS is a Warrior Poets Production in Association with Discovery Channel, Dakota Group, Ltd, and Submarine and is Directed & Produced by Morgan Spurlock. Written & Produced by Jeremy Chilnick. Executive Produced by Stanley Buchthal, David Koh, Josh Braun & Dan Braun.
