GODLESS (Netflix; W/D: Scott Frank) - Jeff Daniels and Scoot McNairy are in talks to join the cast of the limited period drama series, set in 1884, about Frank Griffin, a menacing outlaw who is terrorizing the West as he hunts down Roy Goode (Jack O'Connell), his son-like partner-turned-mortal enemy. While Roy hides at Alice Fletcher's ranch, Frank's chase leads him to the quiet town of La Belle - that is mysteriously made up of entirely women. Their potential roles were not specified. AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Bill Wolff has stepped down as an executive producer of "Chelsea," Chelsea Handler's new Netflix talk show, just three weeks (nine episodes) into its planned 30 week/90 episode run, however there will be no disruption in the production schedule (Deadline.com).
