13 REASONS WHY (Netflix) - Kate Walsh and Derek Luke are the latest to be cast in the series, based on Jay Asher's book of the same name. She'll play Hannah's (Katherine Langford) mom while he's set as Hannah's guidance counselor Mr. Porter. (Deadline.com)
BETTER CALL SAUL (AMC) - Co-executive producer Gennifer Hutchison has signed an overall deal with producer Sony Pictures Television. (Deadline.com)

The property, published by Marvel Comics' Icon imprint, revolves around "a rebellious young Portland, Oregon woman named Scarlet Rue who ends up sparking a second American revolution." STAR (FOX) - Bruce Margolis, a former production executive at 20th Century Fox Television, has signed on as a co-executive producer of the midseason entry as part of an overall deal with the studio. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED PATTY HEARST PROJECT (CBS, New!) - Jonathan Tolins ("Grease: Live!") is spearheading a limited series at the Eye which "chronicles the events in 1974 when Patty Hearst, granddaughter of publishing magnate William Randolph Hearst, was abducted from her Berkeley, California apartment by the terrorist group, the Symbionese Liberation Army (SLA)." Jonathan Koch, Steve Michaels, Rocky Lang and Joan Harrison also serve as executive producers for CBS Television Studios and Asylum Entertainment. (Deadline.com)
