AMERICAN CRIME STORY (FX) - Sarah Paulson will return for season two of the anthology series, which "will tell of the American response to Hurricane Katrina." No details about her character were given. (Deadline.com)
INFAMOUS, THE (A&E) - The cable channel has passed on the drama pilot, set in the 1990s and revolving around two complicated men on a collision course: an ambitious reformed gangster poised to break out of South Central (Bokeem Woodbine) and the LAPD detective hell-bent on taking him down (Jason O'Mara). It may be shopped elsewhere. (Deadline.com)
MASTER OF NONE (Netflix) - Co-creator/showrunner Alan Yang has signed a two-year overall deal with producer Universal Television. (THR.com)
MASTERS OF SEX (Showtime) - Alysia Reiner, Jeremy Strong and Ashley Zukerman are all bound for the new season. Reiner will play Anita, "outspoken, attractive, hyper-confident, in a Gloria Steinem way in her early days - she leads a feminist empowerment group and challenges Libby (Caitlin FitzGerald) to raise her consciousness as a woman in the late 60s." Strong then is Art, "a psychologist from the Kinsey Institute brought in to be Johnson's new partner in the expanding practice. He's smart, gregarious and open, creating a refreshing frankness in his and Virginia's partnership"; with Zukerman as new clinic patient Gary Diebold, "a tightly wound man upset that he no longer seems to pleasure his wife. Raised to be a gentleman, he just can't understand why she wants him to be less gentle in the bedroom." (Deadline.com)
SHADES OF BLUE (NBC) - Margaret Colin has signed onto the show's sophomore run as Matt Wozniak (Ray Liotta)'s wife Linda. She'll take over from Lolita Davidovich, who is departing the series "due to scheduling conflicts." (TVLine.com)
SNOWFALL (FX) - Dave Andron has been tapped to serve as showrunner on the potential drama as part of a two-year overall deal with FX Productions. Andron already spearheaded a rewrite of the pilot script with Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah (Black) slated to helm the reshoots. (Deadline.com)
