Bryan Seabury Named Senior Vice President, Drama Development, Broadcast and Cable Programming, CBS Television Studios

BRYAN SEABURY NAMED SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, DRAMA DEVELOPMENT, BROADCAST AND CABLE PROGRAMMING, CBS TELEVISION STUDIOS

CBS Television Studios announced today that Bryan Seabury has been named Senior Vice President, Drama Development, Broadcast and Cable Programming, CBS Television Studios.

In his new position, Seabury will oversee the development and creation of all primetime drama series for broadcast and cable networks as well as streaming services. He will report to David Stapf, President, CBS Television Studios. Seabury succeeds Julie McNamara, who was named Executive Vice President, Original Content, CBS All Access. http://bit.ly/28IvOUx

For Seabury, it marks a return to CBS Television Studios after nearly seven years in drama development at CBS Entertainment, most recently as Senior Vice President, Drama Development. During that time, Seabury was involved in the development of "Madam Secretary," "NCIS: New Orleans," "Scorpion," "Elementary," "Hawaii Five-0" and "Blue Bloods."

"I've worked with Bryan for nearly 10 years at both the Network and Studio. His exceptional creativity and dedication make him one of the most respected and trusted executives in the industry," said Stapf. "In addition to his creative talent, he's worked on both the buying and selling side, providing great perspective to all the key constituents we produce for."

Previously, as Vice President, Drama Series, CBS Television Studios, he was part of the team behind the development of CBS's "The Good Wife" and "NCIS: Los Angeles" as well as The CW's "90210," "Melrose Place" and "Life Unexpected."

Prior to that, he served as a Vice President of TV development for Mark Johnson's Gran Via Productions, where he developed and served as a producer on "Love Monkey," for CBS.
