NEW YORK, September 19, 2016 - Comedy Central earned four awards at last night's 2015-2016 Primetime Emmy(R) Awards Ceremony. The #1 brand in comedy scored back-to-back wins in the Variety Sketch Series, Directing for a Variety Series, and Interactive Media - Social TV Experience categories.

The critically acclaimed "Key & Peele" capped off its five season run with its first Emmy Award wins, for Outstanding Variety Sketch Series and Outstanding Makeup for a Multi-Camera Series or Special.

Comedy Central's hit late night series and multiplatform powerhouse "@midnight with Chris Hardwick" was also honored with its second consecutive Emmy for Outstanding Creative Achievement in Interactive Media - Social TV Experience.

"Inside Amy Schumer's" Ryan McFaul earned an Emmy for Outstanding Directing for a Variety Series - the franchise's third win overall.

The 68th Primetime Emmy Awards were presented in three ceremonies. The first two, primarily for creative arts categories, took place on Saturday, September 10 and Sunday, September 11, while the balance of the Emmys, primarily for the performing arts, and were announced last night before a black-tie audience during a primetime telecast (ABC). All ceremonies took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, CA.
