PROBLEMATIC WITH MOSHE KASHER PREMIERES TUESDAY, APRIL 18 AT 10:00 P.M. ET/PT ON COMEDY CENTRAL(R)

Six-Episode Weekly Topical Series Executive Produced by Moshe Kasher, Showrunner Meaghan Rady, Serious Business' Alex Blagg, Jason Nadler and Jon Zimelis, and 3 Arts Entertainment's Dave Becky and Josh Lieberman

NEW YORK, March 16, 2017 - No one talks anymore. Dinner table discussions have been replaced by angry memes on Facebook walls. Civil discourse has been supplanted by Twitter rants. Problematic with Moshe Kasher, a new weekly topical series, promises to pull the country out of digital echo chambers and information bubbles and into an actual discussion, beginning Tuesday, April 18 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.

From the mind of comedian Moshe Kasher, Problematic is a hyper-modern take on the casual daytime talk format of the 1980s, reimagined into a joke-fueled show for the digital generation. It's a talk show that actually talks. Each episode of Problematic will delve into a single topic of online outrage - such as impeachment, the dark web, cultural appropriation, ideological changes of heart, the liberal case for guns, and more - and examine how it shapes our culture. With the help of experts, comedians, and questions from both the in-studio and online audience, Kasher will solve every problem that has ever existed by the end of the episode, bringing peace and harmony to the internet once and for all while paving the way for a Oprah/Schwarzenegger co-presidency in 2020.

Named one of Variety's "10 Comics To Watch," Kasher is native to Comedy Central serving as co-executive producer on Another Period, on which he is also a cast member. He makes frequent appearances on Comedy Central's @midnight with Chris Hardwick, This Is Not Happening, and Drunk History and has also appeared on the series Not Safe with Nikki Glaser and The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail. Kasher has also had roles on Transparent, Portlandia, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The League, Shameless, Maron, Garfunkel and Oates and The New Normal.

A versed writer, Kasher has written for several films, series and specials including, Wet Hot American Summer, Zoolander 2, Another Period and the Comedy Central Roasts. He co-hosted the popular podcast The Champs and is the host of The Hound Tall Discussion Series on the Nerdist Network. In 2012, he released his first one-hour special, Moshe Kasher: Live in Oakland and his critically-acclaimed memoir, Kasher in the Rye.

Premiere episodes of Problematic with Moshe Kasher will be available via cc.com the day after each new episode premieres as well as via the Comedy Central App. In addition, they will be available the day after air on iTunes, Amazon Video, VUDU, Microsoft Movies & TV, Verizon Multi-Screen, Google Play, Frontier Communications and Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Problematic with Moshe Kasher was co-created by Kasher and Alex Blagg. The series' showrunner, Meaghan Rady, is an Emmy(R) award-winning newsroom leader, writer and producer with over 15 years of experience in hard news. She most recently worked as the Deputy Bureau Chief for NBC's Washington, DC bureau and as a senior producer for The Today Show. She was previously a producer for NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw. Problematic is executive produced by Kasher, Rady, Serious Business' Blagg, Jason Nadler and Jon Zimelis (@midnight with Chris Hardwick), as well as Dave Becky and Josh Lieberman of 3 Arts Entertainment. R.J. Fried serves as co-executive producer and head writer and Monika Zielinska and Rachel Olson are the Executives in Charge of Production for Comedy Central.
