Seeso Unveils Summer 2017 Programming Slate

NEW YORK, March 30, 2017 - Seeso, the premier comedy streaming channel, today announced its upcoming programming slate, with three Original Series and two exclusive specials. Upcoming premieres include:

Flulanthropy (1x30) - Premieres July 13

A half-hour, hybrid comedy special following German DJ and wunderkind Flula Borg as we follow his quest to become the greatest philanthropist of all time. It's investigative journalism and social action filtered through the positively insane mind of Flula Borg.

The show is created by Flula Borg and will be directed by The Director Brothers, who will also executive produce along with Ed Helms and Mike Falbo though their PEPCO banner and Scott Aukerman and Dave Jargowsky of COMEDY BANG! BANG!

HarmonQuest - Season Two: Part One (5x30) - Premieres July 27

Dan Harmon ("COMMUNITY," "RICK AND MORTY"), his Hollywood pals, and Game Master Spencer Crittenden once again return to the table for an all new comedy roleplaying adventure! With Boneweevil (Jeff Davis) banished to the Demon Realm, our heroes Fondue Zoobag (Harmon) and Beur O'Shift (Erin McGathy) journey to Hell to save their friend, but quickly realize that meddling with powers beyond their control can have serious and hilarious consequences. HarmonQuest is produced by Universal Cable Productions and Starburns Industries.

Season two Part One will feature Gillian Jacobs, Rory Scovel, Aparna Nancherla, Paul Scheer and Patton Oswalt.

There's... Johnny! (7x30) - Premieres August 24

The coming of age story, set in 1970s Los Angeles, when "THE TONIGHT SHOW" first moved from New York to Burbank, is written by Paul Reiser ("MAD ABOUT YOU," "WHIPLASH," "RED OAKS") and David Steven Simon ("THE FRESH PRINCE OF BEL-AIR," "MAD ABOUT YOU), and Executive Produced by Reiser, Simon and David Gordon Green ("RED OAKS," "VICE PRINCIPALS"), who also will be directing the first two episodes.

The Seeso Original Series follows the lives and challenges of Andy (Ian Nelson - "TEEN WOLF," "THE HUNGER GAMES"), a wide-eyed 19-year-old Nebraskan who stumbles his way into a job at "THE TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JOHNNY CARSON," and Joy (Jane Levy - "DON'T BREATHE," "SUBURGATORY"), a young Talent Coordinator on the show, as they both try to find their way and prove themselves in this period of cultural and political upheaval. The show will touch on major historical events of the time, including the Vietnam War, Nixon, and the strengthening counter-culture, as well the show's status as one of the most popular and important cultural institution of its day.

Roger Bart ("DESPARATE HOUSEWIVES"), Tony Danza ("TAXI," "DON JON"), T'keyah Keymah ("THE COSBY SHOW"), Nate Smith ("RED OAKS"), David Hoffman, Daniel Strauss and Andrew Schulz also star.

Executive Producers include Paul Reiser, David Gordon Green, David Steven Simon, Brian Volk-Weiss, Michael Pelmont, Cisco Henson, and Matt Ochacher, as well as Seeso's Evan Shapiro and Kelsey Balance. Craig Knizek will serve as Producer. The Seeso Original Series will be co-produced by Nuance Productions, Comedy Dynamics, and Rough House, in partnership with the Carson Estate.

Hipster Ghosts - All-New Stand Up Special (1x60) - Premieres September 14

All-new stand up special from the Sklar Brothers. Jason and Randy Sklar ("ENTOURAGE," "IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA," "MARON," "CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM") take a Chicago audience by storm, bringing their fast-paced, unique style to an entirely new hour of content tackling topics such as politics, parenting, canine racism and who might haunt us in the afterlife.

Get Krackin (8x30) - Premieres September 21

Kate McLennan and Kate McCartney were barely qualified to host "THE KATERING SHOW" on YouTube so nothing is going to stop them from dumping their mix of social awkwardness and unprofessionalism onto the bright chirpy world of Morning TV.

Catch up on season one of fan-favorite and critically acclaimed "HARMONQUEST" on Seeso platforms now.
