BEAST, THE (FOX) - The network has opted not to move forward with production on the drama pilot, each week of which would have featured "three challenging medical cases. In the end, two will live, one will die. Their doctor - with a clinical fear of death - never stops fighting the odds." FOX previously pushed filming to after the upfronts due to casting reasons. BELIEVER WITH REZA ASLAN (CNN) - The news network has rescinded its second season order for the series over "host Reza Aslan's incendiary tweet about President Donald Trump." (Deadline.com)
INSATIABLE (The CW) - The drama pilot has reportedly found a new home at Netflix, landing a 13-episode order. The CBS Television Studios-based project is about a disgraced, dissatisfied civil lawyer-turned-beauty pageant coach (Dallas Roberts) who takes on a vengeful, bullied teenager (Debby Ryan) as his client, and has no idea what he's about to unleash upon the world. NCIS (CBS) - Jennifer Esposito is departing the veteran drama after one season as NCIS Special Agent Alexandra "Alex" Quinn. (Deadline.com)
QUANTICO (ABC) - Yasmine Al Massri, who plays twin FBI recruits Nima and Reina, has announced on social media she won't return for the show's third season. (@jazmasri)
