DOOMSDAY PROJECT, THE (ABC) - Sony Pictures Television has extended the cast's options (which include Claire Holt, Jack Davenport, Rachelle Lefevre, Dan Byrd, Taye Diggs, Justin Chatwin and Rochelle Aytes) as it explores an internal series order for global distribution. (Deadline.com)
FAHRENHEIT 451 (HBO) - Laura Harrier has been cast in the pay channel's adaptation of Ray Bradbury's novel as Millie, "Montag's (Michael B. Jordan) social media-immersed wife whose consumption of all things digital results in a disconnected marriage." Soufia Boutella and Lily Singh also star as Clarisse and Raven, respectively, with Michael Shannon as Beatty. (Deadline.com)

LAW & ORDER TRUE CRIME (NBC) - Josh Charles has been cast in "The Menendez Murders" as Dr. Jerome Oziel, "the Menendez brothers' controversial psychiatrist, who plays a pivotal role in the case." (Deadline.com)
LUCKY 7 (ABC) - Jason Richman has signed a two-year overall deal with ABC Studios, home to his short-lived 2013 drama. (Deadline.com)
QUEEN FUR (Showtime, New!) - Eileen Myers has sold a new drama to the pay channel about "a plus-sized, promiscuous young woman in the South who runs guns for militias even as she pursues her dream to win the local Muskrat Festival beauty contest." Deborah Spera and director David Frankel are also on board to executive produce for Sony Pictures Television. Said project is part of an overall deal with the studio by Myers. (Deadline.com)
YOU (Lifetime) - Penn Badgley has been tapped for a lead role on the upcoming drama, a romantic thriller based on Caroline Kepnes' best-selling novel about a relationship between two people that gets taken too far, the series explores the line between passion and obsession. (Deadline.com)
