FOUNDATION (New!) - David S. Goyer and Josh Friedman are the latest to spearhead a small screen take on Isaac Asimov's famed trilogy for Skydance Television. Jonah Nolan and Lisa Joy previously took a stab for HBO in 2015. No network is currently attached to the new incarnation. (Deadline.com)
MASON DIXON (FOX, New!) - Julian Breece has sold a new drama to the network about "a black politician's wife and a blunt-talking good-ol' boy who, in the wake of their spouses' cheating scandal, form an unlikely alliance that blends their families and shakes up a community divided by race and class." 20th Century Fox Television is behind the hour with the studio-based Lee Daniels likewise executive producing. MY DINNER WITH HERVÉ (HBO) - David Strathairn has been cast as Marty Rothstein, Hervé Villechaize's (Peter Dinklage) longtime agent, on the docudrama. (Deadline.com)
PATH, THE (Hulu) - Freida Pinto has joined the cast of the show's third season as Vera, "a sleek new publicist for the Meyerist movement, who forges a personal connection with Eddie (Aaron Paul), but may have her own secret agenda." (Deadline.com)
SIX (History) - Eric Ladin is joining the cast of the show's second season as Trevor, "an experienced SEAL who's deadly on the job but also a loose cannon from another squadron who will join the team and disrupt the status quo." (Deadline.com)
