BOOMERANG PREMIUM SERVICE INTRODUCES TV-BASED STREAMING AND PREMIERES "DOROTHY AND THE WIZARD OF OZ"
Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and Chromecast Support Added
Boomerang announced today a free update to the recently launched premium streaming service that will now allow users to enhance their viewing experience with TV-based streaming devices Apple TV and Amazon Fire TV. The service is also adding support for Chromecast, a highly requested feature, which allows fans to stream content directly to their television from their phone or tablet. Roku� devices will be added in the coming weeks. Boomerang is currently available on desktop, iPhone and iPad (with AirPlay support), as well as Android devices through Google Play.
Additionally, today Boomerang launched the world premiere of the new, original series Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz from Warner Bros. Animation. The uplifting comedic fantasy series transports audiences to the magical land of Oz and follows the ruby slipper adventures of its brave and feisty princess protagonist. The first thirteen episodes are now live on the service.
