CHICAGO FIRE/PD (NBC) - Eloise Mumford will recur on the new season of the former as Hope Jacquinot, "an old friend of paramedic Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer). She is described as a playful, charming girl-next-door turned up a notch who has sprung free of her tiny hometown in Indiana to hit the streets of Chicago." Additionally, Wendell Pierce will drop by the latter's season premiere as Alderman Ray Price, "a shrewd, intelligent and determined Teflon politician who seemingly plays neutral and picks sides all at once." (THR.com)
CODE BLACK (CBS) - Melanie Chandra's Malaya Pineda is exiting the series after two seasons while Tyler Perez and Chaley Rose are inbound as Diego, "a rich and privileged charmster who has been handed everything in his life"; and Pepper, "a new resident who's smart enough to get into the Angels residency program, but possibly not fully equipped for the intensity of the busiest ER in the nation," respectively. (TVLine.com)
DAMNATION (USA) - Zach McGowan is slated to recur on the new period drama as Tennyson Dubois, "a charming heir to the vast DuBois industrial dynasty, who is desperate to prove himself as a worthy successor." (Deadline.com)
FAMILY GUY (FOX) - Sir Ian McKellen will lend his voice to an upcoming episode as Dr. Pritchfield, a child psychologist who "meets with Stewie after Stewie misbehaves at school." (EW.com)
HOMECOMING (Amazon, New!) - The proposed Julia Roberts-led half-hour drama has found a home at the streaming service with a two-season straight-to-series order. Sam Esmail is directing the project, "a psychological thriller that centers on a caseworker at a secret government facility (Roberts) and a soldier eager to rejoin civilian life." The project, from Universal Cable Productions and Amazon Studios, is based on Eli Horowitz and Micah Bloomberg's (who will also pen the script) breakout fictional podcast of the same name. Roberts and Esmail will also executive produce via their respective companies, Red Om Films and Esmail Corp, as will Horowitz and Bloomberg alongside Anonymous Content's Chad Hamilton; Chris Giliberti, Alex Blumberg and Matt Lieber of Gimlet Media; and Alicia Van Couvering; with Lisa Gillan and Marisa Gill co-executive producing. Said report also indicates "Davis and MTV plan to continue the show's current narrative in podcast form after the series wraps its run this summer." (THR.com)
TROY: FALL OF A CITY (Netflix) - Hakeem Kae-Kazim has joined the cast of the upcoming eight-episode gods-and-mortals epic as Zeus. Additionally, Lex King has been confirmed as playing Aphrodite. (Variety.com)
