BIZAARDVARK (Disney) - Co-star Jake Paul is bowing out of the series, which had been set to resume production on its second season tomorrow. (@jakepaul)
DEADLIER THAN THE MALE (TNT) - Lily Rabe and Enrique Murciano have both been cast in the drama pilot. She'll play Emma: "Just released from a three-year prison sentence with a new identity for her protection, Emma is trying to move on from a past where she was intimately entangled with a dangerous killer." Murciano is playing Peter Jamison, "Emma's therapist, who has provided his cabin in the Louisiana woods as a safe house as she starts life in witness protection." (Deadline.com)
MARVEL'S IRON FIST (Netflix) - Raven Metzner has been tapped as showrunner of the series' just ordered second season. He succeeds Scott Buck from season one. (Deadline.com)
MODERN FAMILY (ABC) - Co-stars Sarah Hyland, Ariel Winter, Nolan Gould and Rico Rodriguez have inked new two-year deals with 20th Century Fox Television - reportedly valued north of $100,000 per episode - to return for the recently ordered ninth and tenth seasons. Ed O'Neill, Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet and Sofia Vergara previously closed two-year deals to return back in May. (Deadline.com)
OATH, THE (Crackle) - Robert Gossett and Isaac Keys are the latest additions to the upcoming drama. Gossett plays Charles Ryder, "Special Agent in Charge of the FBI investigation and Price's (Elisabeth Röhm) superior officer"; while Keys portrays G, "one of Neckbone's (Kwame Patterson) trusted lieutenants who assists his boss in breaking into a storage facility with hundreds of boxes of WMD capsules - but it's all bait for a perfect arrest."
