FALLING WATER (USA) - Sepideh Moafi has joined the cast of the show's second season as Alexis "Alex" Simms, "Taka's (Will Yun Lee) new partner and a career cop who is very good at her job." (Deadline.com)
FAMILY BUSINESS (CBS, New!) - Barbara Hall ("Madam Secretary") has set up a new drama at the Eye billed as "a multi-generational CIA spy family show told through the eyes of its youngest generation: three adult siblings - who all struggle with rivalry, secrets, and making their mark in the Intelligence Community." Former CBS topper Glenn Geller will also executive produce for CBS Television Studios. (Deadline.com)
LETHAL WEAPON (FOX) - Joanna "JoJo" Levesque will drop by the new season as "a famous crooner named Shaye who is nearly killed when a mysterious figure from her past drives her car off the road." (EW.com)
NOT READY (FOX, New!) - Niki Schwartz-Wright has sold an autobiographical single-camera comedy to the network which "tells the story of Niki's struggle to embrace the harsh realities of being a grown-up while dealing with her fun-loving, unconventional family." Fred Savage is on board to direct the project, which has a penalty attached, for the 20th Century Fox Television-based Fierce Baby Productions. Nahnatchka Khan, Mandy Summers, Jake Kasdan and Melvin Mar will executive produce alongside the duo. (Deadline.com)
PROXY (FOX, New!) - John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein (Vacation) have set up a new sci-fi drama at the network which is "centered on a technology that allows online followers to live voyeuristically through the experiences of hedonistic young "Proxies" on a remote island paradise." The project, which has a penalty attached, will be written by Daley with Goldstein likewise executive producing via their GoldDay banner alongside Anonymous Content's Michael Sugar for 20th Century Fox Television. SUSPENDED (FOX, New!) - Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker ("Powerless") have scored a put pilot commitment from the network for a multi-camera comedy about "an honors government teacher accustomed to teaching the best and brightest who winds up being put in charge of a bunch of students in in-school suspension." Len Golstein will also executive produce alongside the duo via their Warner Bros. Television-based Ehsugadee Productions. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED ROB SUDDUTH PROJECT (ABC, New!) - Rob Sudduth ("The Real O'Neals") has sold a semi-autobiographical, single-camera comedy to the Alphabet about "a man who, along with his husband and son, moves back in with his Mexican-American family in the heart of Texas, where he struggles to navigate his family's deep-rooted traditions." Casey Johnson and David Windsor will executive produce for ABC Studios with Sudduth as a co-executive producer. (Deadline.com)
WILL & GRACE (NBC) - Minnie Driver will reprise her role as "Karen's acid-tongued nemesis-turned-stepdaughter Lorraine Finster" during the show's upcoming revival. She joins fellow guest stars Harry Connick, Jr. and Ben Platt. (TVLine.com)
