FEMME (The CW, New!) - Audrey Wauchope and Rachel Specter ("Crazy Ex-Girlfriend") have sold a potential drama to the netlet about "four millennial women from different walks of life who become unlikely friends and fierce allies after meeting online in a secret feminist social media group. MAGNUM, P.I. (CBS, New!) - Eric Guggenheim and Peter M. Lenkov ("Hawaii Five-0") have scored a pilot production commitment from the Eye for a reboot of the famed 1980-1988 drama, about Thomas Magnum, "a decorated ex-Navy SEAL who, upon returning home from Afghanistan, repurposes his military skills to become a private investigator." Said effort will also feature fellow vets Theodore "TC" Calvin, Orville "Rick" Wright and a gender flipped Juliet Higgins. Davis Entertainment's John Davis and John Fox will also executive produce for CBS Television Studios and Universal Television. UNTITLED BREWER & TOSCANO PROJECT (FOX, New!) - Writer Nikki Toscano is set to team with director Craig Brewer for a new drama at the network about "a blue collar man with a beautiful mind who is suddenly thrust into a world of instant wealth, taking with his loud and irreverent family along for the ride. His journey into this new life will force him to confront demons from his past, his exciting new future, and the girl who got away that happens to be front and center in all of this." UNTITLED REEVES & TOSCANO PROJECT (FOX, New!) - Writer Nikki Toscano likewise is teaming with director/producer Matt Reeves for a potential hour billed as "a female-led character drama that unravels the complicated personal and professional lives of a family of cops as they investigate a high profile missing persons case across two timelines. In 2001, Shane McGuinty, a new detective in the NYC Missing Persons division, and her partner, Dominic, are drawn closer together when they embark on their first (and most haunting) case on the worst day of the year: 9/11. In present day, we follow as Shane and Dominic (now ex-partners and ex-lovers) are forced together again when new evidence threatens to blow both their unsolved 2001 case, and their entire squad, wide open." 20th Century Fox Television-based 6th & Idaho is behind the hour, which has a penalty attached.
