CHAMPIONS (NBC) - Hasan Minhaj will guest on the newcomer as Rohit aka Ro, "Priya's (Mindy Kaling) extremely wealthy brother whose opulent lifestyle impresses his nephew Michael (JJ Totah)." (Variety.com)
GET CHRISTIE LOVE (ABC) - Kylie Bunbury ("Pitch") has been tapped for the title role in the potential drama, about Christie Love, "an African-American, female CIA agent who leads a highly trained elite ops unit. Beautiful and charismatic, Christie transforms into whoever she needs to be in order to get the job done especially when it's down to the wire and the stakes are life and death." KILL BOOK, THE (Freeform, New!) - Jeffrey Lippman ("The Mysteries of Laura") has sold a new drama to the cable channel which "follows a wily, resilient young woman, Charlotte, as she apprentices under a skilled but solitary hitman, Smith, in an effort to obtain justice for her murdered parents." Warner Horizon Television is behind the hour with Jeff Rake and Kapital Entertainment's Aaron Kaplan and Dana Honor likewise executive producing. (Deadline.com)
LAW & ORDER: SVU (NBC) - Martin Donovan and Yasmine Al Massri will both guest in an upcoming installment about a commercial airline pilot (Donovan) whose co-pilot (Al Massri) accuses him of sexual assault. (THR.com)
NCIS: NEW ORLEANS (CBS) - A report has surfaced that executive producer Brad Kern has been the subject of two human resources investigations by CBS Television Studios "triggered by complaints from co-workers about a hostile work environment on the show." "We were aware of these allegations when they took place in 2016, and took them very seriously," the studio said in a statement. "Both complaints were acted upon immediately with investigations and subsequent disciplinary action. While we were not able to corroborate all of the allegations, we took this action to address behavior and management style, and have received no further complaints since this was implemented." OLIVE FOREVER (USA) - The cable channel has passed on the drama pilot, about Olive (Emily Rudd), "a high school student, con artist, cat burglar and chameleon who's mature beyond her years." Producer Universal Cable Productions plans to shop the project elsewhere. (Deadline.com)
