Usher and Nathan Mitchell will join Erin Moriarty as the principal leads on the drama series, about a group of vigilantes known informally as "the boys," who set out to take down corrupt superheroes with no more than blue collar grit and a willingness to fight dirty. Starr will play Homelander, "leader of the main superhero team, The Seven"; with McElligott as Queen Maeve, "member of The Seven"; Crawford as The Deep, "an aquatic hero"; Usher as "another The Seven member, A-Train, a superhero faster than a speeding train"; and Mitchell as Black Noir, "a masked superhero with fighting and Set martial arts skills." GREY'S ANATOMY (ABC) - Titular actress Ellen Pompeo has signed a new two-year deal with ABC Studios. The pact reportedly will pay Pompeo north of $550,000 per episode, making her the highest paid actress in television. GUESS WHO DIED (NBC) - Hector Elizondo and Holland Taylor have been tapped to star in the single-camera comedy, described as a humorous and inspiring look at the shared joys and challenges we all experience at any stage of life. After the death of his beloved wife, he realizes he's fallen in love with his sister-in-law, Patricia, a former American Airlines flight attendant, who can be a little too proper at times, but she's sharp as a tack with a great sense of humor." The project has a pilot production commitment. (Deadline.com)

After running away from home when she was 17, Amanda reappears in Goldie's life and exposes her mother's Achilles heel at the most inopportune time." (Deadline.com)

YOU THINK IT, I'LL SAY IT (Apple, New!) - Kristen Wiig is set to star in a 10-episode comedy series for the company, inspired by Curtis Sittenfeld's upcoming short-story collection.
