ALTERNATINO WITH ARTURO CASTRO (Comedy Central) - Jay Martel has been tapped as showrunner of the digital-turned-linear series, a sketch show based on Arturo's experiences as a Latino millennial in the United States. Production is set to begin this fall in New York City. (Deadline.com)
ERASE (USA) - Callie Thorne is set to star opposite Denis Leary in the drama pilot, the story of Donal O'Neal, a dirty ex-cop who decides to do the right thing and bring down his complicit superior officers. But his best weapon in this battle - a photographic memory - is suddenly compromised by symptoms of early-onset Alzheimer's. In this gritty crime thriller, laced with elements of black comedy, Donal races against time to repair the damage he's done to his estranged family while trying to avoid being killed by his enemies. She'll play Donna O'Neal, "Donal's first love, ex-wife and mother of his children. A woman of strong backbone and incorruptible moral compass whose strength and Achilles' heel is her compassion." FULLER HOUSE (Netflix) - Lee Majors, Lindsay Wagner and Lainie Kazan will drop by the upcoming fourth season in an episode which "D.J. (Candace Cameron Bure), Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and Kimmy (Andrea Barber) mix things up by planning a girls night out - only to discover they've accidentally booked themselves on a senior citizens dinner cruise." LES GUIGNOLS (FOX, New!) - David Javerbaum is spearheading a domestic take on Vivendi Entertainment's "satirical puppet show that ran for almost 30 years in France, which skewered politicians and big-name stars with off-color sketches and songs." A pilot presentation is set to be shot in Paris using the original's production team. Jay Weisleder, Matthieu Porte and Arnaud Renard as well as Propagate Content's Ben Silverman and Howard T. Owens will also serve as executive producers. (Variety.com)
LOST IN SPACE (Netflix) - Sibongile Mlambo's Angela Goddard has been promoted to regular for the show's second season. (Deadline.com)
MESSIAH (Netflix) - Beau Bridges and Philip Baker Hall are both slated to recur on the drama series. Bridges will play Edmund DeGuilles, "a charming televangelist with a large following and an even greater net worth. He's the protective father of Anna Iguero (Melinda Page Hamilton), who gets drawn into the world of al-Masih through his son-in-law Felix." Hall then is set as Zelman Katz, "a former CIA asset and the widowed loving father of Eva Geller (Michelle Monaghan). Now retired, he is starting to have second thoughts about the life he has led and how he has raised his daughter." (Deadline.com)
NOS4A2 (AMC) - Supervising producer Megan Mostyn-Brown has inked a two-year overall deal with the network. Said pact covers her duties on the supernatural horror drama as well as any future development. (Deadline.com)
RAISING DION (Netflix) - Jazmyn Simon has been tapped for a role on the upcoming drama as Kat, "a surgical resident and Nicole's sister. Easy to say, she's the one that has her life together, and can't help but correct Nicole on her life and parenting. All in all, she's a wonderful and supportive aunt and sister, but has a hard time biting her tongue as she watches her sister make mistakes." (Deadline.com)
ROMANOFFS, THE (Amazon) - Hera Hilmar is the latest bound for Matthew Weiner's anthology series as Ondine, "an elegant figure capable of malice, in the episode entitled 'The One That Holds Everything.'" (Deadline.com)
TELL ME YOUR SECRETS (TNT) - Newcomer Stella Baker has joined the cast of the upcoming drama as Theresa Barlow: "a champion swimmer with a glorious future ahead of her until she disappears at the hands of a serial killer. She appears as an increasingly haunting presence - manifesting in visions to her mother during the season and driving her distraught, obsessed mother to increasing lengths in the search she can't give up on." WATCHMEN (HBO) - Oscar-winner Jeremy Irons has signed onto the drama pilot, a new take on Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons's iconic limited comic series. He'll play "an aging and imperious lord of a British manor." (Deadline.com)
