BEVERLY HILLS, 90210 (New!) - The proposed revival of the former FOX staple is actually "an hour-long mockumentary-style dramedy that would find former 90210 cast members Jennie Garth, Jason Priestley, Tori Spelling, Ian Ziering, Brian Austin Green and Gabrielle Carteris playing themselves - albeit in a somewhat heightened state. The potential series - which was first rumored last March - would chronicle the gang's efforts to get (another) 90210 revival off the ground." Shannen Doherty and Luke Perry are not currently attached to the project, which is being shephered by Mike Chessler and Chris Alberghini for CBS Television Studios. (TVLine.com)
BIG BANG THEORY, THE (CBS) - Kal Penn and Sean Astin will both drop by an upcoming episode as Drs. Campbell and Pemberton, "a team of physicists who accidentally confirm [Sheldon and Amy's] complex scientific concept." (TVLine.com)
SECRET SOCIETY (NBC, New!) - Emily Heller has sold a potential comedy to the Peacock about Beth, "a struggling reporter who is tired of feeling invisible in her small town and recruits other women to help take over a dying branch of an all-male secret society." Kay Cannon and Laverne McKinnon of K&L Productions will also executive produce for Universal Television. (Deadline.com)
