ALL TOGETHER NOW (NBC) - Anna Camp has signed onto the Bradley Whitford-led single-camera comedy pilot as Ginny, "a waitress and divorced mother. Ginny plays the piano for the church and is the de facto director of the choir." (Deadline.com)
ANIMAL KINGDOM (TNT) - Emily Deschanel has been tapped for a season-long arc on the upcoming fourth season as Angela: "Recently released from prison, Angela is Julia's (Pope's deceased twin sister) former best friend, a recovering junkie who arrives at the Cody house trying to snake her way back into the family's good graces. She's a survivor, scrappy, manipulative and an addict. Angela's history as Julia's drug buddy gives her power as she tries to seduce Pope (Shawn Hatosy), is hated by J (Finn Cole) and under suspicion by Smurf (Ellen Barkin)." (Deadline.com)
AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 GAMES (truTV, New!) - Fortune Feimster is set to star in a half-hour series for the cable channel in which the comedian "travels to a different country for each episode and throws herself into competing in that nation's most popular (and often strange) game show, whether it's outsmarting robots in China or answering Viking trivia while curling in Norway." Craig Armstrong and Rick Ringbakk of 10Fold will executive produce alongside Feimster. (THR.com)
BATWOMAN (The CW) - Rachel Skarsten has been cast in the DC Comics pilot as Alice: "If Batwoman had a Joker, it would be Alice, the leader of her Lewis Carroll-inspired Wonderland Gang. Swinging unpredictably between maniacal and charming, Alice has made it her mission to undermine Gotham's sense of security." (Deadline.com)
BLACKSPIRACY WITH JAMES DAVIS (truTV, New!) - James Davis will host a half-hour variety show at the network "that examines conspiracy theories in black culture as a way of looking at pop culture at large. He'll uses sketches, interviews and man-on-the-street bits to discuss claims ranging from relevant to ridiculous." Davis and Martin Usher co-created the project and will executive produce alongside Nile Evans, Jesse Collins and Brillstein Entertainment Partners. (THR.com)
CAN YOU BEAT YAMANEIKA? (truTV, New!) - Comedian Yamaneika Saunders is developing a game-show concept at the cable channel "in which comedians take part in a series of games designed to test how quick-witted they are. The winner will take on Saunders head to head to see who can best think on their feet." Executive producing are Saunders, Nile Evans and Rick Dorfman. (THR.com)
EMERGENCE (NBC) - Allison Tolman has scored the lead role on the drama pilot, about a sheriff who takes in a young child that she finds near the site of a mysterious accident who has no memory of what has happened. She'll play said woman, Jo, "the police chief on Long Island's Peconic Bay. Newly divorced from Alex, Jo lives with her 14-year-old daughter, Bree, and her ex-firefighter father, Ed." (Deadline.com)
FBI: MOST WANTED (CBS) - Julian McMahon is set to star in the proposed "FBI" spin-off as Jess LaCroix, "an agent's agent who's at the top of his game and oversees the team from the FBI's Most Wanted Unit, which is assigned the most extreme and egregious cases." (Deadline.com)
HUNT, THE (Amazon) - Jerrika Hinton and Lena Olin are both on track to join Logan Lerman and Al Pacino in the drama series. Hinton is poised play Millie Malone, "a gutsy FBI agent who's marginalized in the Bureau because of her race and gender"; while Olin is "in final talks to play a Nazi." (Deadline.com)
INTERROGATION (CBSAA) - Kodi Smit-McPhee is the latest addition to the true-crime drama as "a troubled and homeless teen who meets [Kyle] Gallner's character at a drug-rehabilitation center, where they became quick friends. To those who met him he was remembered as mysterious and known for his violent confrontations over drugs and sex." (Deadline.com)
LOCKE & KEY (Netflix) - Thomas Mitchell Barnet and Asha Bromfield have both been tapped for the upcoming drama. Barnet will play Sam Lesser, "a troubled, sensitive young man who longs for a connection and will go to desperate lengths to find one. His vulnerability makes him an easy target for Dodge's manipulation." Bromfield then is set as Zadie, "a spunky, horror nerd and lone female member of the Savini Squad - that is, until Kinsey Locke arrives at Matheson Academy." (Deadline.com)
MICHAEL MOORE LIVE FROM THE APOCALYPSE (TNT) - Michael Moore's proposed non-fiction series is not moving forward at the Turner-owned company. Originally ordered in May 2017, said report indicates "scheduling never worked out with Moore" to do the project. (Deadline.com)
MUPPETS LIVE ANOTHER DAY (Disney+, New!) - Josh Gad is set to team with Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz for a new Muppets entry at the streaming service which "takes place right after the events of 1984's The Muppets Take Manhattan. Kermit disbands the gang but they are brought back together after the mysterious disappearance of Rowlf." No other details were given about the project. (SplashReport.com)
ROOKIE, THE (ABC) - Joel McHale and Michael Trucco will both drop by an upcoming episode about "a guy in a safe house that Nolan and Tim pair up to protect." (TVLine.com)
THIS FUNCTIONAL FAMILY (truTV) - Tia Carrere, Gillian Jacobs, Phil LaMarr, Josh Luis Keaton and Omid Abtahi have all signed onto the Jo Koy-led animated comedy pilot, about a guy who just wants to be a good son, a better dad, a decent brother, and a solid ex-husband. Oh, and maybe get his career and dating life on track if his family would just leave him the hell alone. No details about their roles were given. (THR.com)
THIS IS US (NBC) - Rachel Naomi Hilson and Akira Akbar have been cast as the teen and younger versions of Susan Kelechi Watson's Beth. Additionally, Carl Lumbly is set to play her father, Abe Clarke. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED MAZ JOBRANI PROJECT (truTV, New!) - Maz Jobrani is set to topline a variety show at the network which "will employ stand-up, sketches, interviews and hidden-camera pieces to explore the absurd lengths people will go to in order to "fit in."" Jobrani and Jon Beckerman co-created the project for JASH and NowThis with Daniel Kellison, Max Broude, Miriam Mintz and Ray Moheet also among the executive producers. (THR.com)
