Like his other friends and family, she's stunned when he returns six months after he was presumed dead in an attack at his home." (Deadline.com)
GLAMOROUS (The CW) - Ben J. Pierce has booked the lead role on the drama pilot, about Marco, a gender-nonconforming recent high school graduate who lands the gig of a lifetime interning at a cosmetics company whose products he panned on YouTube. Of course, they're the first to discover necessities like fire and the wheel. But, much more importantly, we'll watch as they stumble onto humanity's best, and worst, innovations. Art. Alcohol. Fashion. Racism. Small talk. And, much to their confusion, monogamy." Chris Bruno and David Howard Lee are behind the project with ShadowMachine and Ninja's Runnin' Wild co-producing. (Deadline.com)
SISTERS (FOX) - Megalyn Echikunwoke will join Brittany Snow in the drama pilot as one of the two titular sisters, Edie, "a successful criminal defense attorney who is partners in both work and life with her husband. STRANGE ANGEL (CBSAA) - Matthew Barnes has scored a recurring role on the show's second season as Agent Wallace: "This young turk is a sharp, high-ranking intelligence agent in charge of the rocketry team's increased security clearances. Schooled in information warfare, he casts a doubtful eye on the extracurricular occult practices of Parsons (Jack Reynor), creating an uneasy professional relationship that will dog Parsons and his team throughout the season." (Deadline.com)
UTOPIA (Amazon) - Ashleigh LaThrop, Desmin Borges, Farrah Mackenzie and Christopher Denham are the latest additions to Gillian Flynn's high-concept drama.
