LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- The latest development news, culled from recent wire reports:

Looking to keep track of all the various projects in development? Click here to visit our signature "Devwatch" section. There visitors can view our listings by network, genre, studio and even development stage (ordered to pilot, cast-contingent, script, etc.). It's updated every day!

ADAM & EVE (FOX) - Odette Annable will star in while Claire Scanlon will direct the comedy pilot, about one couple at three stages of their relationship - young and passionate, middle-aged with kids, and navigating retirement. Annable will play the titular Eve. (Deadline.com)
BONES (FOX) - Co-stars Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz as well as executive producer Barry Josephson have been awarded almost $179 million following a lawsuit with the network over their profit participation on the series. The company however "is appealing the awarding of more than $128 million in punitive damages that it says are in contradiction to the initial contracts the actors and Josephson inked for Bones years ago." (Deadline.com)
BOOK OF ENCHANTMENT (Disney+, New!) - Michael Seitzman is spearheading a new drama for the upcoming streaming service based on the book series by Serena Valentino. The project, which is set to open a writers' room in April, features some of Disney's most popular villains and is billed as "an epic universe that weaves classic Disney tales told in a brand new way." Christina Davis of Maniac Productions will also executive produce for ABC Signature Studios. (Deadline.com)
CLAWS (TNT) - Glynn Turman is set for a recurring role on the upcoming season as Calvin, "Desna and Dean's estranged father who comes back into their lives to make amends after turning his life around from drug addiction." (Deadline.com)
DEPUTY (FOX) - Stephen Dorff has signed on for the title role in the drama pilot: Bill Hollister, a career lawman who's very comfortable kicking down doors and utterly lost in a staff meeting. But when the LA County Sheriff drops dead, Bill becomes acting sheriff of Los Angeles County, in charge of 10,000 sworn deputies policing a modern Wild West. Said casting reportedly includes a salary "north of $200,000 an episode if the pilot goes to series and a big penalty if it doesn't." Additionally, he'll receive executive producer credit come season two and a feature script development deal with producers eOne and Cedar Park Entertainment to develop and star in a movie for the companies. (Deadline.com)
EMERGENCE (NBC) - Alexa Skye Swinton, Clancy Brown, Ashley Aufderheide and Robert Bailey, Jr. are all set to join the Allison Tolman-led drama pilot, about Jo (Tolman), a police chief who takes in a young child, Piper (Swinton), she finds near the site of a mysterious accident who has no memory of what has happened. HANNAH (ABC) - Alanna Ubach has joined the cast of the Hannah Simone-led comedy pilot as Susan, "the family's closest friend, filled with confidence and booze and always over-the-top. Susan can be counted on to say exactly the wrong thing at all times." (Deadline.com)
HIGHTOWN (Starz) - Amaury Nolasco and Dohn Norwood have both been cast in the newcomer. The former will play Frankie Alvarez, "equal parts charming, clever, and terrifying, Frankie runs an opioid ring in Cape Cod - even from behind bars." And the latter portrays Alan Saintille, "a state policeman on the Cape Cod Drug Taskforce, Alan's worked with Ray a long time - but that doesn't necessarily make them friends." (Deadline.com)

JANE THE NOVELA (The CW) - Jacqueline Grace Lopez has scored the lead role on the show's spin-off pilot as Estela, "an up and coming art curator who has spent years playing it safe and coloring within the lines. But a shocking secret changes everything and forces her to live a double life." (Deadline.com)
LAW & ORDER: SVU (NBC) - Titus Welliver will guest on the show's March 21 episode as NYPD attorney Rob Miller. (TVLine.com)
LODGE 49 (AMC) - Pollyanna McIntosh will recur on the show's second season as Clara, "a British emissary who meets and befriends Connie at Lodge 1 in England." (Deadline.com)

(Deadline.com)
TRIANGLE (ABC) - Mike Vogel has been tapped for the lead role on the drama pilot: David Roman, "whose life has always been a bit of a roller coaster. He's an orphan who bounced between foster homes growing up. (Deadline.com)

A new jiu jitsu fanatic, Jared practices constantly in order to excel at his first amateur tournament that's quickly approaching and which he has no chance of winning." (Deadline.com)

Eli is Jewish, good-natured and "smart enough to know that his sense of humor is the sexiest thing about him." He is a stay-at-home writer, married to Taylor whom he finds alluring and exciting, constantly impressed by her fearlessness. He's happy with their unconventional marriage, pleased that both have the liberty to sleep with other people as long as they don't bring their playmates home.
