CBS TO PRESENT A NEW "THE LATE LATE SHOW CARPOOL KARAOKE PRIMETIME SPECIAL 2019" ON MONDAY, MAY 20

Special Will Feature an All-New Carpool Karaoke with Celine Dion

CBS will present a new THE LATE LATE SHOW CARPOOL KARAOKE PRIMETIME SPECIAL 2019, featuring an all-new "Carpool Karaoke" with Celine Dion, on Monday, May 20 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. The special will also feature James Corden's favorite moments from this past year on THE LATE LATE SHOW.

This marks the fifth primetime special for THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN. The 2016 and 2017 editions of THE LATE LATE SHOW CARPOOL KARAOKE PRIMETIME SPECIAL both earned Emmy Awards for Outstanding Variety Special. The 2018 edition earned an additional Emmy nomination for Outstanding Variety Special. Following the popularity of the "Paul McCartney Carpool Karaoke," which originally aired during THE LATE LATE SHOW in June 2018, CBS broadcast a one hour primetime special, "Carpool Karaoke: When Corden Met McCartney Live from Liverpool," in August 2018.

Each weeknight, James Corden invites the audience to join in on the fun as the Emmy Award-winning THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN features a mix of celebrity guests, musical acts, games and sketches. The show regularly features viral segments such as "Carpool Karaoke," "Crosswalk the Musical," "Drop the Mic" and "Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts." The show holds the YouTube record for the most-watched late night clip with "Adele Carpool Karaoke," which has 195 million views.
