BEST INTENTIONS (Pop) - Natalie Ganzhorn's Haylee has been promoted to regular on the upcoming comedy series, about Andy Banks, (David Fynn), a kind-hearted but painfully awkward single father who is the guidance counselor at the high school his teenage son Nate (Daniel Rashid), currently attends. Haylee is the new girl in school. (Variety.com)
GOLIATH (Amazon) - Geoffrey Arend, Brandon Scott, Obba Babatundé and Elias Koteas are all bound for the show's final season. Arend will play Griffin Petock, "a charismatic manipulator and defense attorney representing three key players in a series of cases"; with Scott as Robert Bettencourt, "a young, ambitious senior associate at white-shoe law firm Margolis & True, always seemingly in personal and professional conflict"; Babatundé recurring as Ivan Tillinger, "the CEO of Tillinger Health"; and Koteas as Tom True, "the co-founding partner of white-shoe law firm Margolis & True, who finds himself at odds with the firm's most important clients." KUNG FU (The CW) - Jon Prasida, Shannon Dang and Eddie Liu have all scored roles on the reboot series pilot. Prasida will play Ryan Chen, "a quick-witted medical student who has to deal with the sudden return of his estranged older sister, Nicky"; with Dang as Althea Chen, "Nicky's larger-than-life older sister who's newly engaged and on her way to planning her dream Chinese wedding"; and Liu as Henry Chu, "a martial arts instructor and Chinese art history buff who has instant chemistry with Nicky." STRANGER THINGS (Netflix) - Priah Ferguson - who plays Erica Sinclair, the little sister of main cast member Caleb McLaughlin's character Lucas - has been named regular for the show's upcoming fourth season. (Variety.com)
WALKER (The CW) - Mitch Pileggi has signed onto the "Walker, Texas Ranger" reboot series as Bonham Walker, "Walker's father. He is sturdy, conservative and tough as nails but a family man through and through. A third-generation Texas rancher, he's most comfortable taking care of business on the ranch - in the bullpen, supervising cowboys, training horses. Bonham is a man who speaks his mind.
