IN MY SKIN (Hulu, New!) - The streaming service has acquired the U.S. rights to the Gabrielle Creevy-led series - a dark comedy from writer Kayleigh Llewellyn, who mined her own experiences to create a coming-of-age story about a teenage girl leading a double life - from BBC Studios. All five episodes will drop on June 4. (Deadline.com)
INTO THE DARK (Hulu) - Judy Greer, Steve Guttenberg, Ellen Wong, Elise Neal, Maria Conchita Alonso, McKinley Freeman and Chico the Dog are set to star in the franchise's "Good Boy" installment, due on June 12, in celebration of Pet Appreciation Week. The film "centers on Maggie (Greer, who also executive produces), a woman who gets an emotional support dog (Chico) to help quell some of her anxiety. Only, she finds him to be even more effective than she could have imagined because, unbeknownst to her, he kills anyone who adds stress to her life." Tyler MacIntyre directed from a script by Aaron and Will Eisenberg. (Variety.com)
