30 ROCK (NBC) - NBCUniversal has removed four episodes of the series from "streaming services and syndication that feature characters in blackface": "Believe In The Stars", "Christmas Attack Zone", "Live from Studio 6H" and the east coast version of "The Live Show". (Deadline.com)
AMERICAN AUTO/GRAND CREW (A.K.A. UNTITLED PHIL AUGUSTA JACKSON PROJECT)/LANGDON/NIGHT SCHOOL/ORDINARY JOE (NBC) - The network has confirmed the five aforementioned pilots will shoot later this year once production can safely begin. (Deadline.com)
AT THAT AGE/CRAZY FOR YOU/ECHO/JEFFERIES/SOMEONE OUT THERE (NBC) - The Peacock has likewise indicated said quintet will be rolled into next year's development season rather than proceed to pilot. (Deadline.com)
DEBRIS/LA BREA (NBC) - "Debris" is reportedly under consideration for a series pickup by NBC after producers were able to edit together its filmed material with additional visuals to create a de facto pilot. The network has also asked producers of "La Brea" for six total scripts with an eye towards a straight-to-series order. (Deadline.com)
OUTLIERS (HBO Max, New!) - Imagine Television Studios and CBS Television Studios are set to team for an anthology series at the streaming service based on Malcolm Gladwell's bestselling book, which "will take a detailed look at why people are successful, what makes them successful and at what cost. Part historical drama, part biopic, each season will profile individuals through an unique lens, looking at the specific historical situation which led to their outsized imprint on society and what ultimately makes them an Outlier." Greg Walker is spearheading the project, which will focus on Dr. Anthony Fauci, lead member of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, for its debut installment. Brian Grazer, Ron Howard and Samie Kim Falvey will executive produce alongside Walker and Gladwell. (Deadline.com)
WORKAHOLICS (Comedy Central) - Comedy Central, Hulu and Amazon Prime Video have removed an episode of the series which features Chris D'Elia as a child molester. Said development follows recent news that "the comedian and actor was accused of sexually harassing underage women on social media." (Deadline.com)
