ALL OUR WRONG TODAYS (Peacock, New!) - Elan Mastai is spearheading a TV take on this novel, billed as "a mind-bending time-travel love story that explores alternate versions of ourselves in dramatically surprising and often unexpected ways. It tells the story of Tom Barren's world, set in 2016, where technology has solved all of humanity's problems - there's no war, no poverty, no under-ripe avocadoes. Unfortunately, Tom isn't happy. He's lost the girl of his dreams. And what do you do when you're heartbroken and have a time machine? Something stupid." Fuzzy Door Productions' Seth MacFarlane and Erica Huggins and Pascal Pictures' Amy Pascal and Rachel O'Connor will also executive produce for Universal Content Productions. (Deadline.com)
DOOGIE KAMEĀLOHA, M.D. (Disney+) - Jason Scott Lee is the latest addition to the reboot series as the title character's "Hawaiian "Local Boy" father who struggles to accept that his daughter is no longer his little girl. Lee's Benny Kameāloha worked in finance on the mainland, but gave that up to return home and focus on what matters most: family. He now runs a shave ice flower truck, a career change that enables him to be a more present father to his three children." (Deadline.com)
FIRST LADY, THE (Showtime) - Pamela Adlon and Rhys Wakefield have been cast in the Viola Davis/Michelle Pfeiffer-led anthology series. Adlon will play Nancy Howe, "who was Betty Ford's trusted confidante and social secretary. The two were inseparable through thick and thin, from facing Betty's struggle with breast cancer to turning dusty White House traditions upside down." Wakefield then is Dick Cheney, "who served as Chief of Staff to President Gerald R. Ford. The youngest person in U.S. history to serve in that position, Cheney was charged with convincing the American people that Ford's administration would be a departure from the stain left by Watergate." (Deadline.com)
FREE FOOD FOR MILLIONAIRES (Netflix, New!) - Min Jin Lee is developing a drama at the streamer based on her 2007 novel which centers on Casey Han, "a strong-willed, Queens-bred daughter of Korean immigrants who is addicted to a glamorous Manhattan lifestyle she cannot afford." Alan Yang is also on board to executive produce. (Variety.com)
GAME OF THRONES ANIMATED SERIES (HBO Max, New!) - The streaming service is reportedly in the early stages of development on an animated series based on George R.R. Martin's fantasy drama. No specifics or auspices however were given. (THR.com)
GOOD FIGHT, THE (CBSAA) - Charmaine Bingwa is joining the cast of the show's fifth season as Carmen Moyo, "a tough, unsentimental, young lawyer whose working-class background allows her to bond with Reddick, Boseman & Lockhart's most infamous, difficult clients." (Deadline.com)
HEAD OF THE CLASS (HBO Max) - Katie Beth Hall has been cast in the reboot series pilot as Sarah Watson: "She is on the swim team with Terrell (Brandon Severs) and is a type A personality that's driven to create her own destiny." (Variety.com)
LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME (NBC) - Dylan McDermott has signed onto the upcoming spin-off series in a yet-to-be-revealed role. (Deadline.com)
LEGACIES (The CW) - Omono Okojie has scored a recurring role on the series as Cleo, "a new witch student at the Salvatore School, who bonds with Hope (Danielle Rose Russlell) over their artistic passions. Free-spirited and self-reliant, Cleo is excited to find a new home at the school, and to earn a place in its Super Squad." (Deadline.com)
NEW AMSTERDAM (NBC) - Nadia Affolter has landed a multi-episode arc on the upcoming season in a yet-to-be-revealed role. (Deadline.com)
SCENES FROM A MARRIAGE (HBO) - The Jessica Chastain/Oscar Isaac-led limited series has cast Nicole Beharie, Corey Stoll and Tovah Feldshuh in unspecified roles. Sunita Mani also stars. (Deadline.com)
SEAL TEAM (CBS) - Shiva Negar is slated to recur on the current season as Chief Petty Officer Mina Hassan, "a diligent and uniquely skilled Navy Cryptologist and Special Activities Senior NCO who has developed valuable assets and built an impressive network in the Middle East. She is the liaison leading the charge with Ray (Neil Brown Jr.) on a mission to recover black market weapons in Syria. Her character will be introduced in a March episode." (Deadline.com)
SHRILL (Hulu) - The Aidy Bryant-led comedy will sign off with its upcoming third season. "Shrill has been one of the most creatively satisfying experiences of my life, a true labor of love for me and everyone who worked so hard on it," Bryant said in a statement. "We are incredibly proud of this upcoming third and final season and are so grateful to the audience who connected with this story. I am deeply honored to have worked so closely with the writers, cast and crew to make Shrill while continuing my work at SNL, it is a time I will never forget. I have endless love for our crew in Portland and I am excited to get back to NY and rejoin my other work family at SNL in the meantime." (THR.com)
TOO HOT TO HANDLE (Netflix) - The streamer has quietly issued the series a two-season renewal. It's understood filming is underway and has been relocated from Mexico to the Turks and Caicos Islands. Fremantle and Talkback are co-producing the new seasons. (Deadline.com)
