ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL (PBS) - Patricia Hodge has signed onto the show's second season, succeeding the late Diana Rigg as Mrs. Pumphrey. (Deadline.com)
BUCKTOWN (ABC) - The multi-camera comedy pilot has added Annie Gonzalez as Jessie, "Amy's opinionated best friend who works beside her as an assistant at the ad agency"; and Sofia Capanna as Jodeci, "Amy's quirky, off-beat seventh-grade niece. She's had a few knocks in life, but that hasn't dimmed her optimism." (Deadline.com)
FIVE DAYS AT MEMORIAL (Apple TV+) - Adepero Oduye has been cast in the Vera Farmiga-led limited series as Karen Wynn, "nurse manager of the intensive care unit at Memorial Hospital and the head of its ethics committee." (THR.com)
FLATBUSH MISDEMEANORS (Showtime) - Comedian Kareem Green will recur on the upcoming comedy as Kareem, "who is the new stepdad of Dan (Dan Perlman). An uncompromising, confident alpha male, Kareem serves as Dan's self-appointed, unwanted guide to Flatbush, excitedly claiming his role as Dan's father figure. Green is reprising his role from the original web series." (Deadline.com)
HOW TO BE SUCCESSFUL WITHOUT HURTING MEN'S FEELINGS (CBS) - Natalie Morales, Amy Landecker and Alice Lee have scored the lead roles on the comedy pilot. Morales, who will also receive a producing credit, plays Joanna, "a conflict-averse, people-pleasing middle manager at the small tech company Lucent Muse, whose new hire, Elyse (Lee), challenges her "go along to get along" career philosophy." Landecker will portray Dale, "the only woman on the leadership team at Lucent Muse; she lives by the philosophy "What Would Sheryl Sandberg Do" and believes that the way to get ahead in a male-dominated workplace is to work twice as hard and be one of the boys." And Lee is Elyse, "a recent hire at Lucent Muse; she's thrilled to be there and to share all of her ideas, however her inability to bite her tongue and just be an observer gets her into trouble with the boys' club at work, led by a trio of men called The Bryans." KUNG FU (The CW) - Marissa Cuevas has scored a role on the newly launched drama as Nadia, "the smart, feisty, charming personal assistant of Evan's boss who sees and hears everything. She's always been a discreet professional until she catches wind of a coverup of a massive conspiracy. She brings her concerns to Evan (Gavin Stenhouse) and together they embark on a dangerous mission to bring the scandal to light." (Variety.com)
PERIPHERAL, THE (Amazon) - Eli Goree is the latest addition to the William Gibson adaptation as Conner. No other details were given. (Deadline.com)
SHE-HULK (Disney+) - Renée Elise Goldsberry has been cast in the Tatiana Maslany-led Marvel Studios series as Amelia, a yet-to-be-detailed role. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED EMMA SELIGMAN PROJECT (HBO, New!) - Writer/director Emma Seligman has sold a potential comedy to the pay channel about "a young woman in New York who balances her neurotic Jewish family with her life as a college sugar baby." Hyperobject Industries' Adam McKay and Betsy Koch will also executive produce with Lizzie Shapiro, Kieran Altman, and Katie Schiller as co-executive producers. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED TOM SMALLWOOD PROJECT (CBS) - Chi McBride is set to star opposite Pete Holmes in the multi-camera comedy pilot as Archie, "the proud owner of the bowling alley Archie's Lanes: Home of the Curly Fry. Archie is both Tom's (Holmes) mentor and longstanding father-figure. His direct and unequivocal look on life urges Tom to pursue his dream." (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED VANESSA RAMOS PROJECT (NBC, New!) - Vanessa Ramos has landed a single-camera workplace comedy at the network. No plot specifics were given about the project, part of her recently signed overall deal with Universal Television. David Caspe, John Fox and John Davis are also among the executive producers.
