CINDY BUSBY AND TIM ROSS COOK UP SOMETHING SPECIAL IN "HEARTS DOWN UNDER," PREMIERING APRIL 24, ON HALLMARK CHANNEL
Filmed on location in Australia
STUDIO CITY, CA - April 14, 2021 - Cindy Busby ("Chasing Waterfalls," "Love in the Forecast") and Tim Ross ("Harrow," "Wonderland") star in "Hearts Down Under," premiering on Saturday, April 24 (9 p.m. ET/PT). Filmed on location in Australia, the movie also stars Naomi Sequeira ("Pearl in Paradise").
New York restaurateur Caroline (Busby) has her hands full with her own restaurant. So, when she learns that her beloved aunt has left her a café - in faraway small town, Lemon Myrtle Cove, Australia - she is touched, but it seems like the last thing she has time for. However, she realizes that heading to Australia is the perfect opportunity to clear her head. What Caroline finds in Australia is a bustling café - with less than impressive food. She makes a point to say as much to one of the locals, Simon (Ross), not realizing he's the café's chef. In a hurry to get back to her life in New York, Caroline decides to fix up the café and sell it. The problem with doing that in a town the size of Lemon Myrtle Cove is that the only available contractor for miles happens to be Simon. Although they didn't start off on the right foot, Simon agrees to help Caroline with the project. In the process, seeing the area through his eyes, she begins to fall for the place and for him.
"Hearts Down Under" is from A Steve Jaggi Company. Gil Aglaure, Tamara Bell, Stephanie Slack, Janine Pearce, Rosie Lourde, Phil Hunt and Compton Ross are executive producers. Steve Jaggi p.g.a. and Spencer McLaren p.g.a. are producers and Kelly Son Hing and Kylie Pascoe are co-producers. Rosie Lourde directed from a script by Casie Tabanou and Alison Spuck McNeeley.
