AMERICAN SEOUL (Hulu, New!) - Lana Cho has booked a potential drama at the streamer about "a young Korean-American adoptee who moves to Seoul for a job opportunity and discovers that she is the heir of a dynastic Korean family." Sebastian Lee and David Kim are also on board to executive produce. (Deadline.com)
AT THAT AGE (NBC) - The network has passed on the off-cycle drama pilot from Malcolm B. Lee, billed as an exploration of a Harlem family's legacy. Producer Universal Television will shop the project elsewhere as the actors - which include Adrian Holmes, Nicole Ari Parker, Brad James, Jade Eshete, Sinqua Walls, Emayatzy Corinealdi and Christian Keyes - are under deals through July 31. DOLLFACE (Hulu) - Luke Cook has booked a yet-to-be-revealed recurring role on the new season. (Deadline.com)
FIRST LADY, THE (Showtime) - The upcoming anthology series has cast Ellen Burstyn as Sara Delano Roosevelt, "President Franklin Delano Roosevelt's (Kiefer Sutherland) mother and Eleanor Roosevelt's (Gillian Anderson) mother-in-law"; Eliza Scanlen as young Eleanor Roosevelt, "the favorite niece of President Theodore Roosevelt"; and Cailee Spaeny as Anna Eleanor Roosevelt, "the eldest child and only daughter of President Franklin D. Roosevelt and Eleanor Roosevelt." (Deadline.com)
GANGS OF LONDON (AMC+) - The British crime thriller will pause filming for 10 days after "a member of the crew tested positive Thursday." (THR.com)
HUMAN CONDITIONS, THE (HBO Max, New!) - Writer/director Oscar Sharp has sold a "magical-realist medical" drama to the streamer "that follows a young British doctor who must learn to treat impossible, fantastical illnesses by healing the emotional issues that underlie them - and confronting her own along the way." Damon Lindelof, Matt Reeves, Daniel Pipski, Rafi Crohn, Tanya Seghatchian and John Woodward will also executive produce for 6th & Idaho, Brightstar and Warner Bros. Television. (Deadline.com)
LA BREA (NBC) - Executive producer Arika Lisanne Mittman has signed an overall deal with the show's producer, Universal Television. The pact covers her duties on the newcomer as well as any future development. (Deadline.com)
