COBRA KAI (Netflix) - Co-creators Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg and Josh Heald have signed a new four-year overall deal with producer Sony Pictures Television. They'll continue shepherding the "Karate Kid" franchise as well as develop new series projects via their Counterbalance Entertainment banner. (Deadline.com)
EXPATRIATES, THE (Amazon) - Brian Tee has been cast in the Nicole Kidman-led drama as Clarke, "a devoted husband (to Margaret) and father, Clarke has no desire to exchange his expat lifestyle for American suburbia, until his world is upended and he is faced with an impossible choice." (Deadline.com)
MANIFEST (Netflix) - Co-stars Parveen Kaur, Luna Blaise and Holly Taylor have all closed deals to return for the show's revived fourth and final season at the streamer. They'll join the previously announced Josh Dallas, Melissa Roxburgh and J.R. Ramirez. Additionally, Ty Doran will return as a series regular while Jack Messina and Athena Karkanis are departing.
