BROTHER FROM ANOTHER (Epix, New!) - Director Lysa Heslov is developing a true crime documentary series at the network, "which recounts the horrific events of 2015 that led to the brutal murder of 46-year-old Dr. Teresa Sievers, when she returned home after a family trip. Sievers' husband Mark, his best friend Curtis Wayne Wright and Jimmy "The Hammer" Rogers, co-conspirators, would later be charged with her murder." Pop Smoke Productions' Heslov will likewise executive produce for wiip alongside Smokehouse Pictures' George Clooney, Grant Heslov and Kerry Foster. (Deadline.com)
COERCION (Showtime) - Tyrone Marshall Brown has been cast in the drama pilot as Dawson, "a young special agent with the FBI who is tasked with doing something about the prostitution problem in Vegas." (Deadline.com)
GASLIT (Starz) - Sean Penn has reached a compromise with Universal Content Productions to return to work following demands the entire crew by vaccinated from COVID-19. Said report notes that the "entire crew he is working with today is vaccinated." (Deadline.com)
MONARCH (FOX) - Faith Prince is the latest set to recur on the newcomer as Nellie Cantrell, "Dottie's trouble-loving younger sister. Per the character description: All the king's horses and all the king's men couldn't make Nellie look 35 again, but she pulls off sexy." (Deadline.com)
SOVEREIGN (NBC) - Co-executive producer Bird Runningwater has signed a first-look deal with Amazon Studios. (Deadline.com)
TRUE LIES (CBS) - Ginger Gonzaga, Omar Miller, Erica Hernandez and Mike O'Gorman have all joined the Steve Howey-led featured-turned-TV series pilot. Gonzaga will play Helen, "Harry's (Howey) supportive wife, mother of two teenage kids and a linguistics professor who is getting annoyed by Harry's constant business trips away from home. Increasingly angered, she feels as if she's been robbed of the life she once envisioned for herself. Thrilled when Harry invites her along for a trip to Paris, Helen is in for a rude shock when she sees a very different side to her husband." Miller then is Gib, "the logistics guy for the group"; with Hernandez as Maria, "another of the operatives working with Harry"; and O'Gorman as Luther, "also posing as a computer salesman, O'Gorman is an undercover operative who works with Harry at the Omega Sector."
