AOK (CBS, New!) - John Quaintance has sold a multi-camera comedy to the Eye "set at an underdog Internet company in pre-AOL 1991, about a group of young and mostly idealistic entrepreneurs who work together, hang out together, and fall in and out of love with each other, all while trying to change their world, and holding up a mirror to ours." Johnny Galecki is also on board to executive produce via his Warner Bros. Television-based Alcide Bava Productions with the company's Cory Wood producing. (Deadline.com)
CHICAGO FIRE (NBC) - Brett Dalton has been tapped for a recurring role on the veteran drama as interim Lt. Jason Pelham, who's taking over for Jesse Spencer's departing Matthew Casey. (Deadline.com)
CHOPPED & SCREWED (ABC, New!) - Phoebe Robinson and Dewayne Perkins are set to team for a multi-camera comedy at the Alphabet "centered on a Black barbershop and beauty salon that, due to unavoidable circumstances, must come together as one entity to continue servicing the superficial and therapeutic needs of their customers and community." Perkins is attached to star as well. LeBron James and Maverick Carter will also executive produce for SpringHill Company, Tiny Reparations and ABC Signature. (Deadline.com)
GREY'S ANATOMY (ABC) - Lynn Chen - who guest starred as Michelle Lin, "the exacting new head of plastic surgery at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital," earlier this season - will return to the series on a recurring basis. (Variety.com)
HIGH DESERT (Apple TV+) - Matt Dillon, Rupert Friend, Weruche Opia, Brad Garrett, Bernadette Peters and Christine Taylor are set to join Patricia Arquette in the comedy series. Dillon will play Denny, "Peggy's ex, an undeniably charming parolee and a relentless operator"; with Friend as Guru Bob, "a local ex-anchorman, who, after a trauma, rebrands himself as a mystic desert personality"; Opia as Carol, "Peggy's closest friend, the bored fiancé of an ER doctor and a permissive new stepmother - who has a secret of her own"; Garrett as Bruce, "a private investigator whose business is circling the drain, and who becomes Peggy's reluctant employer"; Peters as Rosalyn, "Peggy's complicated mother"; and Taylor as Dianne, "Peggy's buttoned-up sister, who tries to make order of Peggy's chaos." MONARCH (FOX) - Callum Kerr and Kevin Cahoon have scored recurring roles on the newcomer. Kerr will portray Wade Stellings, "a rapidly up-and-coming country singer and son of a pastor who is a big fan of Nicky Roman (Anna Friel). Luke Roman (Joshua Sasse) is pursuing the singer to sign him to the Monarch label." And Cahoon is Earl Clark, "Dottie's (Susan Sarandon) ageless hairdresser/makeup wizard/confidant and has been for decades. Always ready with a cocktail and a quip, Earl would take a bullet for Dottie." (Deadline.com)
POWER BOOK III: RAISING KANAN (Starz) - Tracy Perez has scored a recurring role on the series as Detective Adina Foyle, "Detective Burke's (Shanley Caswell) ex-girlfriend who is making a comeback as her new girlfriend." (Deadline.com)
PRETTY LITTLE LIARS: ORIGINAL SIN (Freeform) - The reboot series has tapped the following for recurring roles: Cristala Carter as Nurse Simmons, "the School Nurse at Millwood High"; Derek Klena as Wes, "Tabby's boss at The Orpheum, Millwood's second-run local movie theater"; Kate Jennings Grant as Madame Giry, "the Dance Teacher at Millwood High"; Robert Stanton as Marshall Clanton, "Millwood High's complete stress case of a principal"; Jennifer Ferrin as Martha Beasley, "the matriarch of the Beasley family"; Lilla Crawford as Sandy, "Karen's most ardent admirer"; Brian Altemus as Tyler, "a Millwood High jock"; Anthony Ordonez as Mr. Gardner, "the Computer Science Teacher at Millwood High"; and Jeffrey Bean as Mr. Smithee, "Tabby's film teacher at Millwood High." ROOKIE, THE (ABC) - Peyton List and James Remar are the latest tapped for roles on the current season. List will play Tim Bradford's (Eric Winter) sister Gennifer "Genny" Bradford, "who - just like her "baby brother" - is not someone to be trifled with." And Remar will play their father, whom "Genny shows up in L.A. unannounced to try and convince her brother to repair and sell their father's house." (TVLine.com)
UNTITLED ROSWELL DRAMA (TNT, New!) - David O'Leary and Sean Jablonski have sold a potential drama to the cable channel which "explores the famous "Roswell Incident" - the U.S. government's alleged cover-up of a crashed alien spacecraft in New Mexico in 1947-and the after effects seen decades later." Trevor Engelson of Underground Films will also executive produce. (Deadline.com)
WONDER YEARS, THE (ABC) - Richard Gant and Spence Moore II are both bound for the reboot series. Gant will play Grandaddy Clisby, "Bill's father and Dean's grandfather, who is described as a man stuck in his ways and determined to maintain his independence." And Moore II is set as "Dean's nurturing older brother Bruce, the eldest Williams child and a star athlete who was drafted in the Vietnam War." (TVLine.com)
