9-1-1: LONE STAR (FOX) - Julie Benz and Amy Acker will both drop by upcoming episodes of the series. Benz will play Sadie, "an artist and outdoors woman with the humility and wonder of a naturalist but the swagger and brass of a native Texan. She's in the cabin next to Owen's in the hill country." And Acker's Catherine, "the chief of staff to the governor of Texas, is described as an alpha, as well as accomplished, beautiful, and formidable." (TVInsider.com, 12/20)
BOB'S BURGERS (FOX) - Jay Johnston, who voices Jimmy Pesto, has been "sidelined" from the animated series "due to his alleged involvement in the January 6 Capitol Riot." (Deadline.com, 12/18)
CHARMED (The CW) - Kapil Talwalkar will recur on the upcoming season as Dev, "a handsome, intense and charming 'Gandharva,' a magical creature with the power to influence people with his voice." (Variety.com, 12/23)
DEAD TO ME (Netflix) - Filming on the show's upcoming third and final season has not been impacted despite "multiple positive Covid tests." (Deadline.com, 12/21)
EQUALIZER, THE (CBS) - Chris Noth has been fired from the CBS drama "after sexual assault allegations against the actor." He'll only appear in one more episode, due on January 2. (Deadline.com, 12/20)
GREY'S ANATOMY (ABC) - Talks are underway with ABC Signature and Shondaland for a potential 19th season of the veteran drama series. Titular star Ellen Pompeo has also has been approached about continuing for another season. (Deadline.com, 12/22)
JULIE AND THE PHANTOMS (Netflix) - Kenny Ortega took to social media to confirm the series has been canceled after one season, which bowed in September 2020. (@kennyortegablog, 12/18)
PARTNER TRACK (Netflix) - Lena Ahn will recur on the upcoming drama as "Ingrid's chaotic, artistic, feminist, social-justice-warrior, Gen-Z sister Lina, who is the first to call out the patriarchy and the bland dudes that she dates." (Deadline.com, 12/20)
