BATMAN: CAPED CRUSADER (HBO Max) - Ed Brubaker has signed onto the animated series as head writer of the 10-episode first season. He'll also serve as an executive producer alongside Bruce Timm, J.J. Abrams and Matt Reeves. James Tucker is a co-executive producer. (THR.com)
BEL-AIR (Peacock) - The "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" reboot series has "had dozens of positive tests from crew." Said news however has not impacted production. (Deadline.com)
HOME WORK (Magnolia Network) - The renovation series featuring Andy and Candis Meredith has been pulled from discovery+ as well as its planned January 8 linear launch on Magnolia Network after "allegations of shoddy work and overcharges by its hosts surfaced from two homeowners." (Deadline.com)
HONEYMOONERS, THE (CBS) - Writer Lindsey Shockley and director Kelly Park are set to team for "a bold, female-driven reboot of the iconic working-class comedy centered around new wife Ruth and her husband Alex who are determined to have a marriage where they are true equals in every way. But what happens when a marriage has two heads of the household? Are they co-heads? Or no head at all?" Two Shakes Entertainment's Damon Wayans Jr. and Kameron Tarlow will also executive produce the multi-camera project for CBS Studios. The network last took a stab at a reboot in 2016 with Bob Kushell at the helm. (Deadline.com)

SCOTT PILGRIM (Netflix, New!) - Bryan Lee O'Malley's graphic novel series - about "the titular slacker and in a garage band named Sex Bob-omb with his friends" - is heading back to the screen, this time as an anime series at the streamer. O'Malley himself and BenDavid Grabinski are spearheading the proposed adaptation for Universal Content Productions with Science SARU's Eunyoung Choi producing and Abel Gongora attached to direct. Edgar Wright, Nira Park, Marc Platt, Jared LeBoff, Adam Seigel and Michael Bacall - the team behind the 2010 live-action feature "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" - will also receive executive producer credits. TRIGGERED (Peacock, New!) - Dana Klein has sold a single-camera comedy to the streamer in which "frustrated by her inefficacy, a rule-following therapist starts to break the rules of her profession, and, eventually, the law, and soon becomes a vigilante therapist who helps people... using whatever means necessary." TrillTV's Wendi Trilling and Kapital Entertainment's Aaron Kaplan will also executive produce for Universal Television and CBS Studios. (Deadline.com)
