BURNING GIRLS, THE (Paramount+, New!) - Hans Rosenfeldt has scored a six-episode order from the streamer for an adaptation of C.J. Tudor's novel "where a female vicar and single mother to a 15-year-old daughter, arrives in Chapel Croft in the hope of a fresh start. However, instead of finding peace in their new home, they find the village rife with conspiracies and secrets." Tudor, Rosenfeldt, Richard Tulk-Hart and Tony Wood are the executive producers with Rosenfeldt and Camilla Ahlgren leading the writing. Viacom International Studios and Buccaneer Media are producing. CHICAGO FIRE (NBC) - Jesse Spencer is on track to reprise his role of Matt Casey for the show's 10th season finale. (Deadline.com)
CHICAGO MED (NBC) - Kristen Hager's Stevie Hammer is exiting the series as a regular, having been missing in action since the show's March 2 episode. (TVLine.com)
CHIEF OF WAR (Apple TV+, New!) - Jason Momoa will topline a new eight-episode limited series at the streamer which "follows the epic and unprecedented telling of the unification and colonization of Hawaii from an indigenous point of view." Momoa and Thomas Pa'a Sibbett will also pen the debut installment as well as executive produce alongside Francis Lawrence, Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, Erik Holmberg and showrunner Doug Jung for Endeavor Content and Chernin Entertainment. Justin Chon is in talks to helm the first two episodes. (Deadline.com)
COMING UNDONE (Netflix, New!) - Billie Piper is attached to star in a small screen take on former Empire magazine editor-in-chief Terri White's memoir at the streamer, which "documents the conflict between her outward success and private trauma that spiraled into a mental health crisis, which resulted in White spending time on a psychiatric ward." White herself is penning the project for Bad Wolf with Piper likewise executive producing. (Deadline.com)
EX-WIFE, THE (Paramount+, New!) - Celine Buckens will star in a four-part drama at the streamer based on Jess Ryder's novel, "where a woman's world of a perfect house, a loving husband and a beautiful little girl is turned upside down when her husband's ex-wife won't leave them alone." Clapperboard Studios, Night Train Media and Blackbox Multimedia are behind the project with Ryder, writer Catherine Steadman, Mike Benson, Giuliano Papadia, Chiara Cardoso, Olivia Pahl and Herbert Kloiber executive producing. Andy Morgan is producing and Brian O'Malley is directing. (Variety.com)
FASHION HOUSE (Paramount+, New!) - Lambent, All3Media International and Night Train have landed a three-part anthology series at the streamer "telling the story of three of the greatest fashion houses of all time - Gucci, Versace and Burberry." Emma Tutty and Ollie Tait are the executive producers with Ian Denyer, Kate Misrahi and Clare Richards directing said installments. (Variety.com)
FOUND (NBC) - DeMane Davis has been tapped to direct the drama pilot from Nkechi Okoro Carroll. (Deadline.com)
LA HAIRDRESSERS (Paramount+, New!) - Fulwell 73 and Endeavor Content have booked an eight-part series at the streamer which "will follow two Los Angeles establishments, with their teams of stylists that make them destinations for the Hollywood elite." Leo Pearlman and Sheldon Lazarus serve as executive producers. (Variety.com)
LEGACIES (The CW) - Luke Mitchell will recur on the series as Ken, "a malevolent god who has returned to take down Hope, the world's only tribrid, and reclaim his title as the world's most powerful being." (Deadline.com)
PERVERT: CATCHING THE STRIP SEARCH CALLER (Paramount+, New!) - Wag Entertainment has scored a three-episode order from the streamer for a documentary series "following the true crime story of a hoax caller who targeted fast food restaurants across America, convincing managers to obey his instructions, resulting in the abuse of staff." Bridget Boseley and Steven Green are the executive producers with Sara Mast directing. (Variety.com)
SHRINKING (Apple TV+) - Harrison Ford has signed on to star opposite Jason Segel in the comedy series as Phil Rhodes, "a down-to earth, sharp as a tack "blue collar shrink," blunt but with an ever present twinkle. Phil is a pioneer in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy who has built a successful practice over the years that he shares with his two young proteges, Jimmy and Gaby. Fiercely independent, Phil has recently been diagnosed with Parkinson's, which forces him out of his comfort zone as he grapples with intrusive friends, his estranged family and his legacy."
