EMMY AWARD NOMINEE CHERYL HINES ALONG WITH RACHAEL HARRIS, JASIKA NICOLE & ZACK PEARLMAN TO GUEST STAR IN THE PREMIERE EPISODE OF "FANTASY ISLAND SEASON 2"
· Emmy nominee Cheryl Hines along with Rachael Harris, Jasika Nicole & Zack Pearlman are set to appear in the premiere episode of FOX's FANTASY ISLAND SEASON 2.
· The series is currently in production in Puerto Rico.
· Liz Craft and Sarah Fain are co-showrunners and executive producers. Anne Clements is also an executive producer. FANTASY ISLAND is a co-production between Sony Pictures Television, Gemstone Studios and FOX Entertainment.
· FANTASY ISLAND returns for its sophomore run on May 31 at 9 p.m ET/PT.
· In the premiere episode, longtime best friends, Tara (Harris) and Jessica (Hines), want to rule their 30th High School Reunion, but their plans go sideways when everyone is forced to tell the truth. Andi wants to know if her cat BoBo loves her as much as she loves him. Roarke (Sanchez) juggles a secret romance, as Ruby (Barnes) and Gina spend more time together.

CHERYL HINES
Actress, Producer and Director Cheryl Hines is a two-time Emmy nominee for her role as Cheryl David on HBO's Larry David show "Curb Your Enthusiasm" , where she recently wrapped Season 11. Next up is Season 2 of the HBO Max hit "The Flight Attendant" opposite Kaley Cuoco. Cheryl starred in ABC's "Suburgatory," the Fox comedy "Son Of Zorn," the CBS All Access series "The Good Fight," ABC's "The Conners" and "Stumptown," the Sundance series "This Close," and Comedy Central's "Drunk History." In features, Cheryl was last seen in the Freeform feature "Turkey Drop," "A Bad Mom's Christmas", playing mother to Kristen Bell, opposite Susan Sarandon and Mila Kunis; "Nine Lives" starring Jennifer Garner and Christopher Walken, directed by Barry Sonnenfeld; and Craig Johnson's "Wilson" opposite Woody Harrelson and Laura Dern for Fox Searchlight.
RACHAEL HARRIS
Rachael Harris grew up in Worthington, Ohio. She graduated from Worthington High School and attended Otterbein College, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in theatre and Music. Harris joined the Groundlings, a well-known and respected improvisational and sketch comedy troupe, in the late '90s. From there, she went on to be a correspondent on 'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart' to appearing in some of America's most iconic television series "Friends," "Frasier," "Curb Your Enthusiasm," "Modern Family," and "New Girl," among many others. In addition, she was cast as a lead in the sitcom "Surviving Jack" opposite Christopher Meloni on FOX and portrayed fan-favorite 'Sheila Sazs' on the popular USA series "Suits."
Harris has appeared in many theatrical films, including the box office hit "The Hangover" as 'Melissa' and 'Mrs. Heffley' in the original three "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" movies. Harris has been a part of many of Christopher Guest's improvised films' including "Best in Show," "A Mighty
Wind," and "For Your Consideration."
In 2012 Harris was nominated for 'Best Female Lead' at the Independent Spirit Awards for her performance in the movie "Natural Selection" as a devout Christian housewife determined to reunite her dying husband with his illegitimate son. Additionally, she was nominated and won a
"Breakthrough Performance" award at the 2011 SXSW Film Festival for "Natural Selection." Currently, Harris is a series regular on the hit Netflix series "Lucifer," playing 'Dr. Linda Martin',therapist to Tom Ellis's, Lucifer. Harris resides in Los Angeles with her children.
JASIKA NICOLE
Nicole is perhaps best known for her role as Astrid Farnsworth, an FBI agent turned scientists' assistant, on the hit FOX series Fringe. The cast also included Joshua Jackson and John Noble. She also made her mark on the small screen with large roles in Scandal and Underground. Other television credits include guest spots on Station 19 and Major Crimes to name just a few.
Nicole also brought her talent to the medical drama The Good Doctor. She played Dr. Carly Lever, the head of pathology at St. Bonaventure Hospital, who formed a friendship with Dr. Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore). Nicole was upped to a series regular for Season 3, which allowed fans to get to know her character on a deeper level as she navigated the ups and downs of a budding romantic relationship with Dr. Murphy. The storyline made television history as one of the first to explore romance between neurotypical and neurodivergent partners, which earned praise from fans and critics alike.
Things aren't slowing down for Nicole. She was most recently as Cherie's girlfriend Lauren, a fun-loving and self-assured lawyer, in the reboot of the '80s comedy Punky Brewster. The cast also includes Soleil Moon Frye and Cherie Johnson who reprise their roles from the original series, as well as Freddie Prinze Jr.
ZACK PEARLMAN
Zack Pearlman recently co-starred in the CBS All Access drama series STRANGE ANGEL directed by David Lowery and produced by Ridley Scott. He recently recurred on the YouTube series IMPULSE produced by Doug Liman. In 2016, Zack worked with John Hamburg on the 20th Century Fox feature WHY HIM opposite James Franco and Brian Cranston. Zack can also be seen in Nancy Meyers' feature, THE INTERN, which stars Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro, as well as a starring role in STATEN ISLAND SUMMER, produced by Lorne Michaels for Paramount.
First discovered in a national search by Adam McKay and Will Ferrell, Zack made his Hollywood debut by starring in Sony's, THE VIRGINITY HIT. Zack also starred in MTV's TV series, THE INBETWEENERS, based off of the BBC hit series and film. His other television credits include guest star roles in KEY AND PEELE, COMMUNITY and WORKAHOLICS.
