Television and HBO, have been trying to rein in costs, but Bad Robot has kept firm on their proposed budget, said to be in the mid-$200 million range, and would not agree to a reduction below that." The publication goes on to say "a broader discussion about Bad Robot's deal is expected amid a big, across-the-board close examination of WarnerMedia's businesses by Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav." Bad Robot is currently in the middle of a five-year deal with the studio, its home for more than 15 years, which runs through 2024. (Deadline.com)

Living out his golden years in the small town of Bozouls, Spade will soon find his tranquility interrupted." Scott Frank and Tom Fontana are behind the project with Frank set to direct for Black Bear Television, FilmNation Entertainment and Haut et Court TV with Owen, Barry Levinson, Teddy Schwarzman, Michael Heimler, Caroline Benjo, Simon Arnal, Carole Scotta, Carlo Martinelli and David Halpern also among the executive producers. Abrams and Ben Stephenson will also executive produce. (Deadline.com)
