GILDED AGE, THE/WINNING TIME: THE RISE OF THE LAKERS DYNASTY (HBO) - Director Salli Richardson-Whitfield will serve as an executive producer on both series as part of a new overall deal with HBO and HBO Max. (Deadline.com)
GREY'S ANATOMY (ABC) - Alexis Floyd has booked a series regular role on the upcoming season as Simone Griffin, "a new first-year surgical resident at Grey Sloan. A funny, whip smart, high achiever with a complicated family dynamic. She grew up in Seattle, but never wanted to work at Grey Sloan because of a painful personal history with the hospital." KOALA MAN (Hulu) - Hugh Jackman will lend his voice to the upcoming animated series as Big Greg, "the most well-liked man in Dapto and the head of the Town Council. Big Greg has only known success. Formerly the host of Fishing Big with Big Greg, Australia's third most popular fishing show, Big Greg has ridden his celebrity into a trusted position in Dapto." (Deadline.com)
LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME (NBC) - A crew member was shot and killed early Tuesday morning while on location in New York for filming of the show's third season. "We were terribly saddened and shocked to hear that one of our crew members was the victim of a crime early this morning and has died as a result," NBC and studio Universal Television said in a joint statement. "We are working with local law enforcement as they continue to investigate. Our hearts go out to his family and friends and we ask that you respect their privacy during this time." (Variety.com)
