DUNE: THE SISTERHOOD (HBO Max) - Travis Fimmel has been cast in the prequel series as Desmond Hart, "a charismatic soldier with an enigmatic past who seeks to gain the Emperor's trust at the expense of the Sisterhood." (Deadline.com)
GOOD DOCTOR, THE (ABC) - Brandon Larracuente's Danny Perez has been promoted to regular on the show's current season. (Deadline.com)
GOTHAM KNIGHTS (The CW) - Lauren Stamile and Damon Dayoub will both recur on the midseason drama. Dayoub will play Lincoln March, "a charismatic, self-made industrialist with designs on becoming Gotham's next mayor, the only thing more important to Lincoln than his legacy is the power he wields as one of the city's elite." And Stamile is Rebecca, "the dutiful "Good Wife" to her business mogul husband. A caring and supportive mother, one would never know she's trapped in an unhappy marriage." (Deadline.com)

OVERCOMPENSATING (Amazon, New!) - Benito Skinner has sold an ensemble comedy to the streaming service which "follows Idaho football player Benny as he struggles to accept his sexuality in college, finding himself overcompensating as he tries to convince himself of something he's not. Poignant, personal, and deeply funny, this ensemble comedy explores the experiences we all have in figuring ourselves out - the various personalities we try out along the way, and the journey to find the people who accept us just as we are." Charli XCX and Jonah Hill are also on board to executive produce for Strong Baby Productions, A24 and Amazon Studios. (Deadline.com)
QUEEN OF THE JUNGLE (AMC, New!) - Michal Zebede has sold a family drama to the cable channel which "follows the estranged granddaughter of the Cortez family, which has the largest eco-luxury hotel real estate empire in Costa Rica. When her grandfather dies, she pulls the thread that unravels her family's dark past, as descendants and rivals fight to the death for control of the lucrative Cortez empire." Michael London of Groundswell Productions will also executive produce. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED INDIANA JONES PROJECT (Disney+, New!) - The streamer has reportedly been meeting with writers for a potential new TV take on Lucasfilm's famed film franchise, the fifth of which is due in 2023. No plot specifics were given. (Variety.com)
