CONFIDENT WOMEN (Amazon, New!) - Alexa Junge is spearheading an anthology series at Amazon Studios based on Tori Telfer's novel, which "chronicles female con women in a range of different stories over the last several decades." Allison Janney, The Green Room's Bob Greenblatt and Thruline Entertainment's Chris Henze are also on board to executive produce with Telfer receiving a co-executive producer credit. (Variety.com)
DANCING WITH THE STARS (Disney+) - Judge Len Goodman announced during tonight's telecast this season would mark his last on the series. (THR.com)
DIRTY DEED (Freevee, New!) - Tom and Charlotte Melia have sold a dark comedy to the streamer which "follows a woman and her two best 20-something friends who realize the only way to own a home may be to kill her terrible grandmother." The Green Room's Bob Greenblatt, BBC Studios' Angie Stephenson and Various Artists Ltd.'s Roberto Troni will also executive produce for Lionsgate Television and Amazon Studios with Jon Wu as a co-executive producer. FOR ALL MANKIND (Apple TV+) - Svetlana Efremova has joined the cast of the show's fourth season as Irina Morozova, "a high-ranking Soviet official." (Deadline.com)
HOME ECONOMICS (ABC) - Danny Pudi will drop by an upcoming episode as Brian, "Connor's money manager - which means he's likely a very busy guy." (TVLine.com)
TALK NERDY TO ME (CBS, New!) - Dana Schwartz has set up a single-camera comedy at the Eye about "two sisters navigating the landscape of female geekdom together from two different perspectives." Hermit House's Dan Hernandez and Benji Samit and 3 Arts Entertainment's Oly Obst and Katie Newman will likewise executive produce for ABC Signature. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED SETH ROGEN PROJECT (Apple TV+, New!) - Seth Rogen is set to topline a new comedy at the streamer about "a legacy Hollywood movie studio trying to survive in a world where it is increasingly difficult for art and commerce to live together." Rogen and Evan Goldberg will also direct the project, which has a straight-to-series order, from a script they co-wrote with showrunners Peter Huyck and Alex Gregory. Alex McAtee and Josh Fagen also serve as executive producers for the Lionsgate Television-based Point Grey Pictures. Frida Perez co-produces. (Deadline.com)
WE WERE THE LUCKY ONES (Hulu) - Robin Weigert and Lior Ashkenazi have both been cast in the Joey King-led limited series. Robin will star as Nechuma, "the Kurc matriarch who is the beating heart and center of the family. She is a proud and capable business owner." And Lior is Sol, "the sage and beloved patriarch of the Kurc family. Sol has great warmth and determination and strives to remain level-headed despite the growing hardships his family faces."
