(Variety.com)
FLASH, THE (The CW) - "Supergirl's" Nicole Maines will reprise her role on the show's final season. Eric Wallace told the publication: "Nicole is a fantastically talented actress and I'm so happy she's agreed to be part of a very special Season 9 episode where I get to cross off one of my "Arrowverse Bucket List" team-ups: Having two fantastic reporters - Iris West-Allen (Candice Patton) and Nia Nal - investigate their own very bizarre and frightening mystery." HOW TO BE A BOOKIE (HBO Max) - Maxim Swinton has joined the cast of the Sebastian Maniscalco-led comedy series as Anthony, Danny's 11-year-old stepson, "a sweet kid who has a complicated relationship to the world thanks to a biological father in a psych ward, a budding eating disorder and a deep commitment to anime cosplay." (THR.com)
OTHER BLACK GIRL, THE (Hulu) - Garcelle Beauvais will recur on the upcoming Zakiya Dalila Harris adaptation as Diana Gordon, "a world renowned author who has been best friends with Kendra Rae Phillips, the former Black editor at Wagner. Since the book came out, the pair have grown apart." (Deadline.com)
PEEP SHOW (FX, New!) - Stefani Robinson is spearheading the new domestic take on Jesse Armstrong and Sam Bain's British comedy, which "follows the relationship between a long-suffering assistant and her boss, an emotionally unstable tech entrepreneur."
