ANNE RICE'S INTERVIEW WITH A VAMPIRE/ANNE RICE'S MAYFAIR WITCHES (AMC) - The company's Immortal Universe series are in "ongoing conversations" about a crossover. No specifics however were given. (Deadline.com)
DUNGEONS & DRAGONS (Paramount+, New!) - Writer/director Rawson Marshall Thurber has scored an eight-episode, straight-to-series order for a TV take on the fantasy role-playing game franchise. No plot specifics however were given. Entertainment One and Paramount Pictures are co-producing. (Deadline.com)
EL PATIO (FOX, New!) - Danny Fernandez has sold a multi-camera comedy to the network which "follows a group of mostly Latin neighbors of all ages, races and walks of life, who welcome a new neighbor, Gabriel Suarez, into their small Miami apartment building. Gabriel, a Mexican-American from Texas, always knew that life in Miami would be different, but he never expected that his neighbors' cultural differences would be an almost-constant source of conflict and comedy." The project is set up at Roselyn Sanchez and Eric Winter's Two for the Road Entertainment, Aaron Kaplan and Melanie Frankel's Kapital Entertainment and FOX Entertainment. Manuel Mendoza also serves as a co-producer. (Deadline.com)
ROOKIE, THE: FEDS (ABC) - Donna Mills will drop by the show's January 17 episode as Layla Laughlin, "a famous cosmetics maven who had humble beginnings, and began as a single mom who made her way by developing skincare products in her kitchen." (Variety.com)
SILK: SPIDER SOCIETY (MGM+) - Co-executive producer Jason Ning has signed an overall deal with the show's producer Sony Pictures Television. He'll continue to develop new series projects, including "a TV series adaptation of the Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and other four novels in Wang Dulu's Crane Iron Pentalogy, published between 1938 and 1944, which chronicle the struggles of four generations of youxia, a type of ancient Chinese warrior folk hero." STAR TREK SECTION 31 PROJECT (Paramount+) - The Michelle Yeoh-led spin-off series remains still in development, more than four years after it was originally announced. (TVLine.com)
