1883: THE BASS REEVES STORY (Paramount+) - Dennis Quaid is set to star opposite David Oyelowo in the limited series as Sherrill Lynn, "a Deputy U.S. Marshall." (Deadline.com)
CUBE, THE/LAZARUS PROJECT, THE/MIRACLE WORKERS (TBS/TNT) - The Warner Bros. Discovery-owned networks have confirmed all three series have been pushed until later this year. Said offerings had been set to roll out on January 8, January 23 and January 16, respectively. "TNets scheduling has made some adjustments to its January 2023 programming slate. Impacted series include The Cube (TBS), Miracle Workers (TBS) and The Lazarus Project (TNT)," a TNets rep said in a statement to the publication. "These strategic scheduling shifts will allow us to better support the three series later in the year." Additionally, options on the cast of "Miracle Workers" have passed, meaning this will more than likely be its final season. (Deadline.com)
GOSSIP GIRL (HBO Max) - The streamer has pulled the plug on the reboot series after two seasons, with next week's episode serving as its de facto finale. "We are very grateful to showrunner/executive producer Joshua Safran, and executive producers Stephanie Savage and Josh Schwartz for bringing us back to the Upper East Side and all the scandals at Constance Billard," HBO Max said in a statement. "Although we are not moving forward with a third season of Gossip Girl, we thank them for the enticing love triangles, calculated backstabbing and impeccable fashion this series brought to a new audience." (Deadline.com)
INTERIOR CHINATOWN (Hulu) - The Jimmy O. Yang-led comedy has cast Diana Lin and Archie Kao as Lily Wu, "Willis's mother who is both his biggest fan and sharpest critic"; and Uncle Wong, "Willis' curmudgeonly boss at the Golden Palace," respectively. (Deadline.com)
LAW & ORDER: SVU (NBC) - Bradley Whitford will guest on the show's February 23 episode as "a professor struggling with early-onset dementia who confesses to a murder." (Variety.com)
LIST, THE (HBO Max, New!) - Yomi Adegoke is attached to bring her upcoming novel to the small screen at the streamer. The project follows Ola Olajide, "a high-profile journalist at Womxxxn magazine about to marry the love of her life, Michael. The couple seem to have it all but one morning they wake up to the same message: "Oh my god, have you seen The List?"" Piers Wenger and Rose Garnett are also presumably executive producing for the BBC and A24. (Deadline.com)
SINKING SPRING (Apple TV+) - Amir Arison has been cast in the Brian Tyree Henry-led drama as Mark Nader, "the Supervisory Special Agent in the DEA." (Deadline.com)
