AMERICAN HORROR STORY (FX) - "The Resident" star Matt Czuchry is bound for the next season in a yet-to-be-revealed role. (THR.com)
RESIDENT, THE (FOX) - The network has confirmed it has canceled the medical drama after six seasons.
SURFACE (Apple TV+) - Phil Dunster has joined the cast of the show's second season as Quinn, "the older brother of Eliza (Millie Brady). Quinn is described as the privileged scion of a troubled, old-money family who's attempting to blaze a new trail for the younger generation - all the while struggling against his own darker tendencies." UNTITLED STERLING K. BROWN PROJECT (Hulu, New!) - Sterling K. Brown is set to re-team with "This Is Us" creator Dan Fogelman for a new drama at the streamer which has a series order. No logline or plot details were given about the project. Fogelman, Brown, Jess Rosenthal and John Hoberg are the executive producers for 20th Television. (Deadline.com)
