NON-EVIL TWIN (NBC) - The Amber Ruffin-led comedy pilot has cast Christina Anthony as Christina, "Angie's assistant/acolyte who believes she's the smartest person in the room and is easily annoyed by others"; Ray Santiago as Tony, "the well-meaning but brutally honest marketing VP dismissed by Angie but embraced by Amber, who is drawn to his oddball sweetness"; and Melanie J. Newby as Amy, "Angie's tough-as-nails vegan cellmate, who refuses to put Angie on a pedestal like everyone else and instead prefers to kick the pedestal out from under her." (Deadline.com)
PEEP SHOW (FX) - Minnie Driver and Amandla Jahava have scored the lead roles on the comedy pilot based on the U.K. series of the same name, which "follows the relationship between a long-suffering assistant (Jahava) and her boss (Driver), an emotionally unstable tech entrepreneur." Additionally, Yana Gorskaya has been tapped to direct and executive produce. (Deadline.com)
