Thai Thriller 'DELETE' Debuts June 28
Ever secretly wished you could delete someone from your life? In the ominous world of DELETE, this power is entirely possible, thanks to a mysterious device that has the ability to erase a person from existence. Those who come into contact with this dangerous power soon realise that it draws out their worst impulses.
The new Thai series DELETE debuts worldwide on Netflix on June 28, and it marks the series debut of director Parkpoom Wongpoom. Also the co-writer of this project, he says: "DELETE's exciting and extraordinary plot revolves around the darker sides of human nature, especially when complicated relationships come into the picture. The story examines a thought-provoking question: if we could actually make anyone vanish, would we do it? I had the chance to explore a lot of new approaches and experiences throughout the making of DELETE, which will cross the lines between genres like action and drama, and even include some special-effect spectacles."
The show's emotional journey is brought to life by a cast packed with award-winning talent. These include Ice-Natara Nopparatayapon as the heir from a wealthy family, Nat Kitcharit playing a famous writer, and Fah-Sarika Sartsilpsupa as a woman trapped in a controlling marriage.
Ice-Natara Nopparatayapon says: "This series encompasses various captivating elements. It brings together intense drama and genuine action sequences to make a big impact." Nat Kitcharit, meanwhile, is confident that the tight teamwork between the show's cast and creators will make a deep impression on viewers. "Immersing myself in this character has driven me to grow and refine my craft as an actor," he adds.
Fah-Sarika Sartsilpsupa describes the experience of working with the DELETE cast as "training or collaborating within a group of amazingly talented and hardworking people". Rounding out this talented group is Jaonaay-Jinjett Wattanasin, Charlette Wasita Hermenau, and Hunger co-stars Aokbab-Chutimon Chuengcharoensukying and Peter-Nopachai Jayanama - both fresh off the Thai film's success in hitting the #1 spot on the Netflix Global Top 10 chart.
