LOS ANGELES, February 1, 2024 - FX today announced the limited series Say Nothing, a gripping account of the Troubles in Northern Ireland. The 9-episode series from acclaimed producers Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson's Color Force will be available exclusively on Hulu in the U.S., Star+ in Latin America and Disney+ in all other territories. Say Nothing is based on the book by Patrick Radden Keefe, who will serve as an executive producer with showrunner Josh Zetumer and Northern Irish director Michael Lennox.

Spanning four decades, Say Nothing explores the tumultuous period in Northern Ireland known as The Troubles. The series launches with the shocking disappearance of Jean McConville, a single mother of ten who was abducted from her home in 1972 and never seen alive again. But McConville was only one of many others who became known collectively as The Disappeared.

Through the eyes of various IRA members, including sisters Dolours and Marian Price - young women who transformed into magnetic symbols of radical politics, Brendan Hughes - a tight-lipped but conflicted military strategist, and Gerry Adams - a savvy political operator who would go on to negotiate peace but ultimately deny his involvement with the IRA, Say Nothing unpacks the extremes some people will go to within a civil rights movement as they pursue their ideals, the mystery surrounding The Disappeared, the cost of silence, and the way society mends - or doesn't - after a long and bloody conflict.

The series stars Lola Petticrew as Dolours Price, Hazel Doupe as Marian Price, Anthony Boyle as Brendan Hughes, Josh Finan as Gerry Adams, and Maxine Peake as adult Dolours Price.

Say Nothing is executive produced by Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson of Color Force (American Crime Story, Pose, The Hunger Games, Crazy Rich Asians), showrunner Josh Zetumer (RoboCop, Patriots Day), Patrick Radden Keefe (Wind of Change, Painkiller), Edward McDonnell (Shōgun, Sicario), Monica Levinson (Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, Captain Fantastic), and Northern Ireland native Michael Lennox (Derry Girls, The Back of Beyond, Boogaloo and Graham). The series is produced by FX Productions.

Lola Petticrew (Tuesday, Dating Amber, Bloodlands) will star as Dolours Price and is represented by Hamilton Hodell and Range Media Partners.

Hazel Doupe (Sanctuary: A Witch's Tale, You Are Not My Mother, Float Like a Butterfly, Smother, Calm With Horses) will star as Marian Price and is represented by Curtis Brown and McFarlane Chard.

Anthony Boyle (The Plot Against America, Manhunt, Masters of the Airs) will star as Brendan Hughes and is represented by Hamilton Hodell, WME, Tapestry London and Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole.

Josh Finan (The Responder, Baby Reindeer, The Gentlemen) will star as Gerry Adams and is represented by Insight Management & Production.

Maxine Peake (Funny Cow, The Theory of Everything, Peterloo, Black Mirror: Metalhead, Anne) will star as adult Dolours Price and is represented by Maison 2 and Tapestry London.
