April 16, 2024 - Paramount+ and the National Park Foundation announced today that Paramount+ will become the first official streaming partner of the National Park Foundation and offer captivating content through live streams and additional VOD national parks content. The collaboration will kick off this Earth Day on April 22.

Through this partnership, Paramount+ will provide funding to help support the National Park Foundation's mission to protect and preserve more than 420 of America's national parks and motivate people everywhere to connect and fall in love with their beauty, history and culture through unprecedented virtual access. Viewers will explore a new location daily, unveiled through sunrise-to-sunset live streams featuring Yosemite National Park, Blue Ridge Parkway, Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area, New River Gorge National Park & Preserve, Everglades National Park, Death Valley National Park and Zion National Park.

The live content will be filmed by solar-powered cameras and includes additional exclusively captured footage from these national treasures. Matt Aeberhard, one of the world's leading wildlife filmmakers and Emmy(R)-nominated and award-winning wildlife cinematographer, will join the live-streams project as consulting producer, drawing on his renowned skills in capturing nature's wonders to deliver a visually stunning and captivating experience for audiences. Throughout the year, Paramount+ will showcase new content and events designed to further champion our national parks and the National Park Foundation's efforts.

"As we look at the iconic mountain in our logo - a constant reminder that adventure awaits - we couldn't be more thrilled to partner with the National Park Foundation and share the parks' stories with our wide streaming audience," said Puja Vohra, EVP of Consumer Marketing, Paramount+ and SHOWTIME(R). "Through majestic live streams and enthralling content, we aim to inspire our shared multigenerational audiences to connect with America's national treasures and ensure their preservation for future generations to come."

"We are grateful for the commitment of Paramount+ to advance our work to ensure parks are forever and for everyone," said Dawn Rodney, Chief External Affairs Officer, National Park Foundation. "By showcasing and connecting everyone to the iconic and awe-inspiring landscapes of America's most treasured places, this partnership will continue to cultivate and inspire a sense of wonder and appreciation for our national parks today and into the future."

Beginning on Earth Day, viewers will be able to live stream the national parks on Paramount+ here and YouTube here. The live streams also will be featured in the Paramount+ Earthly Adventures collection, launching on April 18. The streams, combined with a bespoke lineup of National Park Foundation content available on-demand, will deliver an immersive and uplifting park experience that brings viewers closer to national parks in a whole new way.

In celebration of Earth Month, the Earthly Adventures collection will feature a diverse array of movies and series, including Smithsonian Channel's docuseries Aerial America, David Attenborough's Great Barrier Reef, Epic Yellowstone and Wild Wild East.
